What art means and what feeling that one gets from experiencing art is different from every individual. But I think I’ve worked through some things while painting this. How I somehow cling to the childish things, to distant memories, even though my childhood hasn’t been great. I’ve slept with my blåhaj teddy and elephant teddy in my bed for at least five years by now. Even when sadness overwhelms me and things changes, they’re still there. Silent, old but still there.
