Life has definitely been hectic for me lately—it's hard to believe how quickly time is flying by. December is already just around the corner, and before we know it, it'll be Christmas! It's kind of wild to think about how fast the year has gone by. It feels like just yesterday we were talking about the start of the year, and now the holiday season is nearly upon us. Time really does seem to slip away faster with each passing month.

I feel like summer stretched out for a while--and not nearly long enough--but the start and the end of the year do feel like they just flew past. I could swear Halloween was only yesterday but now it's Thanksgiving, and I wouldn't be surprised if I woke up tomorrow to Santa in my kitchen.

This is your friendly reminder that it is spooky season, the BEST season of the year. I hope y'all are getting ready for the big day. I know I am!

Well, lucky you, Rachel, and I check on you a lot. And we don't check on you anymore because you spend a lot of time at our place.

You make it sound like I spend way more time at yours than I do. And for the record, most of the time I am there it's to make sure I'm Moriah's favourite Auntie, not to visit y'all.

Yes, I agree with that. But you know what I am talking about. I am not talking about those things that everyone should agree with. Eighty-ish-pluse percent? More like a hundred percent! Yes, I have seen the traffic in this city. After all, I drive through it every single day. And I love it. At least you admit it's very handy! When was the last time you used it, though?

Well, apart from donating, I could also promote it? What do you think?

Couple of weeks ago when I had a bunch of parcels to mail out. Easier to move them all by car than by subway.

Little things, huh? And what type of little things are you looking for?

It's not like there's a hard and fast list, you know. I mean, there is a list, but it's not only what's on the list. There's a sense to it, a vibe if you will. Like being hungry or tired; you just know.

But since I know you're going to ask me anyway, some of the things on the list are things like texting you something that they think you'll like, or asking your opinion on something, or just checking in on you to see how you're doing. Little things to show that the other person cares. And I know that that sort of things can apply to friendships and moreships, which is why it's not just the list that counts when it comes to sister-ship.

Just because she’s the love of my life doesn’t mean I can’t find her scary, Jules. I just don’t think she’s scary at all. Complicated? A little. Alright, I agree with you—she can be intense.

So, how will you find out if she considers you a sister or not, huh? If you don't ask her, you won't know.

I'll know. You don't need to come out and say something like that; it's in the little things you do that show it.

I still don’t agree with that, but okay. I guess we just have different opinions. But you like everyone, Juliette. You’re some kind of exception. I think you’d even find something to like about the worst person in the world. Listen, having a car is a huge deal, Jules. You should enjoy the opportunity of having a good one and actually do something with it. You really need to drive in the city—you’ll feel the rush and get addicted to it. Just don’t let my wife know how fast I sometimes go, please.

Oh, you guys do charity events? See, now that is something interesting.

World would be a sadder place if we all thought the same way. At least on most things; there are some things everyone should absolutely be on the same side for.

But I digress.

And I do not get along with everyone... it's more like eighty-ish-pluse percent.

Have you seen the traffic in this city? I'd get more of a rush running, which I do. But I do appreciate the car, Quinn, and thank you again for it. Even if I'm not getting quite the milage (pun intended) out of it as you'd like me to, it's very handy to have when I need it.

I was just trying to tease you, making you think I wouldn’t let you stay at my house and that you’d need to find a place, Juliette. My God, where’s your sense of humor? And I didn’t rent one—we have a beach house there.

C'mon! I was clearly talking about reading, Juliette. Not those dirty things you are thinking about!

Well, I've been focused on my studio during the summer. Some weddings here and there, some magazine covers, but yeah. And now going back to Supergirl.

Oooh, fun. And not to give you a big head or anything, but have I mentioned how cool it is that my sister is a superheroine?

How about buying an ebook? It's compact and technically you can take a 100 books with you.

You can. And I do. But there is something about a physical book that no ebook will ever replicate. The smell alone is half the experience, and unlike an ebook, a real book lives the experience with you; little things like smudges on the page from when you stopped at the diner for lunch, or water marks on the page when you got caught out in that sudden rainstorm. A book is more than just the words on the page, it's a piece of you.

How about you? What was the longest you waited to tell your family about someone to whom you were romantically inclined?

Don't get me wrong but when we go on vacation we have way better things to do to pass our time...

You are either drastically overestimating my net worth, or drastically underestimating the cost of renting a house in the Hamptons. And given that you either own a house there or have rented one, I reckon it's the first one.

You know we are just half-sisters, right? And just because of that doesn't mean you default to be on my good side. Not all sisters get along. Trust me, I know about this. I did buy you a car you don't even use. You and Rachel are very much alike.

Wait a second, costumes? What the hell? Wasn't it a board game?

There's no half when it's blood. There's not even a half when it isn't. It's not some kind of dial you can fine tune, it's a swtich: You either are or aren't. And we are.

I will agree that just being family doesn't mean you get along; I've got a couple of cousins that are proof of that. But outside of one or two very notable exceptions, it doesn't hurt to at least put in the effort to not hate each other.

It's not my fault that this City is terrible for Parking and I can get to most places I want to on public transit just fine, or that most of the places I go to outside of the City are easier and faster to fly to.

And it's not like I've never driven it; I've taken a few road trips to Lima and back.

The costumes are optional and only if you're group is open to that sort of thing. Mine is. And like I said, only for special occasions. Like the time we did a charity event.

She is not scary, though. Just when she starts rambling and ranting to try and win a fight.

Team Faberry, huh? God. haha And yeah, I am glad to know you are one hundred percent sure we are it, and I don't know, maybe next time you are with her you need to ask her if she considers you her sister.

Mmhmm... And I'm sure your thoughts on that have nothing to do with her being the love of your life.

You can't just ask something like that; it doesn't count if you have to make them say it.
