//So, I literally have no activity on my blogs. As in, the activity page on my blogs just flat out don’t….exist anymore??? it just redirects me to the dash if i manually go to the link for the various sideblogs I have hear. I have no clue why. I’ve been contacting tungle about it and they have never…replied…sooooo idk what’s up with that. I literally have no clue/have not been able to get any notifications on any of my blogs lately or know if people have been sending asks or liking stuff or replying or what (I doubt people have lately but y e ah??? wtf tungle)

Anywhos, I do still like my splat muses overall. I’m still interested in writing them, but I’ve noticed a severe lack of interest in people really wanting to interact with them. Likely due to me just not….really doing much here lately tbh. I have worked on and off to do a light reset to do some character edits. I’ve got a good idea/mood for Andy, as I don’t plan on changing him much, but due to the information released via octo expansion and some other stuff, I’m really conflicted on Peter and have lots of ideas I wanna utilize. I could ramble on here about it but I’ll spare y’all.

uhhh i actually drew the tentacle stuff a while back, but then I just did a brief doodle of a possible new eyemask for Peter? I need to draw his squid form eventually but I’m already tired oiahdgf

      though he frequently opted for perpetual soft-toned speech, navarre stood beneath a tree, calling out what appeared to be lines, judging by how he glanced every now and then down to a piece of paper in his hands.

he looked mostly nonchalant — a grey hoodie, baggy and obscuring, skinny jeans that far too snugly fit his physique, and… some huge ass stilettos, adding unnecessarily to his height.

he’d stop only when walked upon. ❝ … it’s you. class let out early? i’ve seen you around campus a bit. ❞

Peter almost froze, as if seemingly a bit embarrassed to be seen. He wasn’t in his normal fashionable outfit, dressed to the nines in something amazing. The octo-squid was in a pair of skinny jeans, very wrinkled and some obvious coffee and jelly stains on it from breakfast. His college sweatshirt, bearing the school’s colors, was faded and old, had some holes in it. No heels, nothing fashionable. Just slip ons, old and slightly muddy from walking on a dirt path somewhere. But of course, it was hard to see with all the books this boy was carrying.

Backpack stuffed to the brim, zipper teeth beginning to open from the stress, a canvas bag over his shoulder stuffed with books and papers, He also had a laptop in his other arm, not wanting the technology crushed by the books.

“Uh, no. Was at the library,” he admitted, feeling a bit flustered. “Paper due soon, put it off at the last minute.” Bullshit lies. It wasn’t due for months, but school was one of the few things Peter took very seriously. Especially with his modeling career supposedly starting, he didn’t want to have to quit school in order to achieve it. “I didn’t know you attended here,” he replied honestly. Peter rarely paid much attention to others while on campus during his class hours or his personally scheduled studying time. “What kind of student are you?”

He noticed what the other was wearing, and he subtly shifted to hug his laptop to his chest, trying to cover up any other gross stains his shirt may have.

I unfortunately know spoilers because people don’t tag anything (I’ve been on my personal and people have spoiled it majorly for me). I’ve already got some mild ideas rolling around in my head on some things I want to do, but I want to finish the expansion before I implement or do anything with them. I’m also still in a sour mood overall tbh because of personal issues, so yeah. Not sure how I may be around here in terms of the next few days.

Right, right. Couldn’t get too caught up in this. Least not until he showed off how beautiful he looked in Toni Kensa. Ride. Yeah, a ride would definitely be helpful, and he nodded.

“Yeah, a ride would help a lot.”

Her ride, the little vespa, was adorable. Pink, all sorts of hearts and stars on it, and the second seat too. He wouldn’t have to somehow cling to the tiny squid as they drove.

“Do I have to wear any kind of helmet, or…?”

            ☪️ —— Plopping herself at the front, the idol begins prepping her tentacles for easy tucking away. ❝ No, you’ll be fine. Just, uh, don’t do anything silly. I had a guy fall off the back, once. His fault, though. ❞

Despite that eerily casual statement, she pats at the back seat.

He visibly tensed a bit at the idea of falling off, but he wasn’t a wuss or about to back out of this chance because of that. Peter was fairly careful, and he gave a light shrug. He happily slipped onto the back seat, but his grip told another story. He gripped onto the seat with his fingers for dear life, his legs tightly clinging to the sides of the vespa.

“Just, uh, be careful. My face is pretty, I don’t wanna mess it up.” Despite the serious, yet somewhat jokey words, his voice was a bit shaky.

“Uh, thanks?” How do you respond tothat? “I’d really hope not.” He remained silent for a bit,thinking. He didn’t spend a whole lot of time with the idol. She wasbusy, doing…idol stuff? He wasn’t fully sure what idols did outsideof the concerts and practices. And he had school too. “I’m sureyou’ll come up with something sooner or later. You write your ownsongs, right? You probably do the rhyme thing all the time.

            ☪️ —— Upon the light’s change, Bonbon speeds off once more, taking in the air that beat around her clothes. ❝ Wouldn’t try to help you get your foot in the door otherwise, ❞ she chuckled. ❝ I do, sometimes — I don’t always rhyme in them, though. I just… like the way certain words sound. And I like repeating them, I guess. I must say, though, darling — what is it that you do for a living? I have to ask, considering the uh… sometimes tiring scheduling of modeling. ❞

“Oh, I’m just a graduate student, at Inkopolis University,” he replied, and he eagerly began a brief ramble. “I’m hoping to get my doctorate in history with an emphasis on Octarian history and the human era, but I also have been dabbling a lot in the Great Turf War. The school gives me a stipend to live on, but I also do shifts for Grizzco if I need extra cash.” His voice began to sour a bit, wrinkling his nose a bit in annoyance. “My mom will also sometimes send me money, but she and my dad are expecting another baby so she’s been buying a bunch of baby stuff.” Clear jealousy, and he was quiet for a moment before he finally clarified his answer to her question. “So, yeah. I typically have a lot of free time outside of class, and I only have that twice a week.”

He couldn’t help but look at the other inkling. Top to bottom. Several times.

“Did ya…forget something there, dude?” he questioned, gesturing to the other’s lack of…anything. “Like…perhaps underwear. Pants. Socks?”

“Huh? What do you mean?”

Goggles is oblivious to his condition, but he does shudder shortly as a breeze blows by. It takes another good minute for him to finally realize what Peter is referring to and he starts to laugh, rubbing the back of his head like it’s nothing big. 

Does this Inkling not feel shame? 

“Ohhhhh! Ahahaha, I forgot to dress again! Oops! Thanks for telling me, neighbor!”

“How...”

Peter slowly closed his eyes, putting his hand to his forehead slowly. He couldn't really comprehend the entire situation. He opened his eyes and stared at the other.

“So, I can understand forgetting your phone. Or wallet, or book, even shoes. Or underwear. But your entire outfit for the day? Do you even have your keys?” Peter didn't want to have to go down to the main office to have somebody come unlock an apartment for the other inkling.
