So I made some very messy doodles of @inkyvirus Pirate Au? (My bad if I'm incorrect :()

(I felt a little lazy with coloring so I just used gray scale instead.)

Its looks and sounds like a interesting concept especially with how HUGE Verity monster form looks. I think it would be so cool if he conceals it with fog constantly circling it. (I really want to hear more about it!!!)

(Extra doodle of a entrap Mob. I would be shitting bricks if I was in his sisuation.....)

I REALLYY like the fog idea... And I'll be taking that thank you. It fits with the vision in my minds eye.... The main event with verity and mob take place is a semi underwater cavern, as in the only way out is to swim. Aka. going into the water where verity is. Very cool. The image of the fog lifting from the water and isolating the cove off even further is so... Ahh... Poor mob. My bad bro.

Also the way you draw verity is PERFECT!! he's so weird and creepy and gross looking YUCK!! STAY IN THE SHADOWS MAN!!!

I'm glad you like the fog idea because it also goes along with Verity being the only good light source for Mob to see. Like a lighthouse luring a sailor to safety creating dependence with the need to see.

And I this makes me really like the design choice of Verity looking like a Angular fish almost. With him being the lure and the rest of his body hidden to create the illusion of being friendly. (I think the fog idea would also hide the thing that Verity is attach to, making it look like his floating in a way. But that's just a suggestion.) Which also brings me back to the symbolism of a Angular fish because when you see them apart from their lure. Their kinda icky looking like Verity's monster form. Which from your art , he looks absolutely revolting himself. (I can image one whiff of him and you would be enhaling the most dead fish smell in your life. 💔)

But in all honestly, I have a bigger fear of the unknown in water than land. So I wish your Mob the best, bro is gonna be suffering and needing a bath. IF he escapes. ✌😔

My original idea was having mob be a light house keeper so I’m nodding my head so hard. Mob literally NEEDS verity to survive here. There’s nothing for him to do but just lay down and die. Verity knows the way out. Verity has the light. Verity is his only source of food because the giant fish monster’s presence alone is enough to spook away any potential prey. Its dire. In just a moment his entire world is made into verity verity verity and verity -

‘I DO LIKE THAT IDEA OF THE FOG HIDING THE ATTACHMENT. mob just thinks he’s hallucinating for the first bit till he sees veins. That’s so scary to think about. EUGH. Thinking something almost ethereal is helping you only to realize the truth… this really is just mob torture nexus huh

Yeah . Yeah. Verity doesn’t smell good. Like at all. Genuinely rancid. Even if he gets out mob is smelling that shit for the rest of his life it’s SO BAD. Who knows if he will ever get out but if he does he’s investing in scented candles and herbs because he cannot live with that stench in his nose any longer

Got lazy. Verity pisses me off.

I imagine he’s not super fast, and air slows him down significantly. Hence the need for a lure. Why he’s mimicking humanoid features so much? Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Anyways top half is kinda like a false torso? It still works, and is where a growls and hisses come from mainly. He can only properly talk with the lure.

‘And a bonus doodle of their possible first meeting - or a part of it. Being a enderman hybrid out in the water is never a good idea. You’d call out for the first thing you see to help you, even if you suspect it may have had a part in your current fate. Anything to survive. Unfortunate for mob that he saw this fuck ass fish
