So, whoah, this feels really awkward to type.

A lot of you already knew I was considering this for a long time, but I've finally decided it's time to leave FFTumblr. I won't be deactivating Reeve, I want to have his blog for the memories so to speak, so feel free to just unfollow. There won't be any new posts anyway.

I took a hiatus a few weeks back because I'd lost my Reeve must altogether, found it really hard to stay IC here. When I got back, I deactivated Vayne to make it easier for me to stay IC as Reeve, which I've been trying to do, but with little opportunity.

I love a lot of you guys and have followed a lot of you on my personal so as not to lose touch, but FFT as an RP group just isn't working for me anymore. :( The crack and the fact that it's, as Locke said once, more like a dating site, just isn't the sort of environment I myself can RP in. If it works for other people, though, go for it. I guess I'm just moving on.

Anyway... It's been real fun. Another month and I'd have been here a year, and I had a great time here with you guys, a small group of you in particular who know who you are, so thank you.

If anyone wants to keep in contact, leave me a message on my personal and I'll give you my personal msn right away.

Reeve was scanning the maze of train cabins distractedly, trying to work his way out while thinking over the last reply he sent Vincent, worrying about HQ, how he was going to take it back, and worrying about Angeal, Penelo, the others... He sighed and rubbed his temples. If he was going to get anywhere, first and foremost he had to have a clearer head. For now, one thing at a time. The Turks would be following soon and he needed a way out.

He moved to nearest cabin and started to climb the small ladder set on its side. Maybe if he was higher, he'd get a better view. His handgun bumped against his waist as he moved, since he'd decided to leave his jacket behind it had freer movement.

As he stood up straight on the roof of the train, his pocket vibrated again and he retrieved the phone immediately.

'I'm going to head to Seventh Heaven soon, talk to Cloud about this. Have you heard from him, or anyone from the WRO?'

As good a place as any to begin. Reeve thought wryly about how he wasn't too far from the previous Seventh Heaven.

'Good idea. I haven't heard from anyone, and I thought it best not to contact those who may watched. Let me know anything new that you find out, please?'

He knew Vincent well enough to know that he wouldn't be messaging him if there was a risk of him being watched. Vincent would make sure beforehand that he wasn't.

He locked the keypad on his phone, pocketed it, and went back to searching for a way out.

Reeve sat his phone on his lap as he waited for a reply from Vincent, sitting up straight now as he continued going through the files. He was taking everything he'd kept in his personal folder that he thought he may need - plans, soldier counts, contact details for all sorts of people... He never knew what would come in handy somewhere down the line.

As he exited one folder after saving all the contents and attempted to access another, a loading message appeared and he frowned. It hadn't done that before now. He waited for maybe thirty seconds as it attempted to access the folder, and his frown deepened as a new message appeared; Access Denied.

Well... That's it. Security details had been changed. I'm on my own from here on out. He rubbed a hand across his face as realised he hadn't fully considered what that would mean until now, then took a deep breath and steadied himself. No use panicking now.

His phone almost fell from his lap as it vibrated again, and he picked it up quickly, his hands still shaky, and read the message.

'I understand, Reeve. Are you alright?'

He gave a small smile. It was so like Vincent not to pick at his reply and to accept what he'd said, and he was glad for it. Putting down his handheld, he used both hands to type back a reply quickly.

'Physically, fine. Uninjured and safe for the time being. I'm afraid I'm at a slight loss as to what to do about Rufus right now, and planning is difficult as the Turks will soon be on my tail. But I will manage it. I WILL take back HQ.'

He wished he was as confident as he sounded.

#ooc: Back in a few hours~

Reeve sat hunched over, his elbows on his knees and his handheld in both hands, biting his bottom lip in concentration as he worked quickly to salvage as much information as he could. He already found out through accessing the organization's network that Rufus had made the public announcement. Soon, the Turks would have nothing to do at HQ anymore. When that moment came was when they would come for him. He would have to move quickly.

He jumped as something vibrated in his pocket, heart beating quickly and eyes wide for a moment as he retrieved his phone with shaky hands. He gave a silent laugh at how jumpy he was before reading the screen. A PHS from Vincent.

'Reeve. Where are you?'

Reeve bit his lip again and looked up, stroking his beard with his thumb as he considered how to reply. His closest contacts would probably be under surveillance, but with the Turks busy, was that in effect yet? Could he risk responding to Vincent?

There was no hard in responding, was there? He could explain that his location should remain secret for now... Unless Vincent was sure he wasn't being followed. Vincent seemed the sort to be aware of something like that. He shrugged, looked at the screen again. For a minute or so, the only noise in the surrounding area was the beeping of the device and the clicking of his thumb moving across the keypad as he replied.

'Vincent. I assume you've heard what happened. I apologize, but I shouldn't reveal my location until I am sure there is no chance of being found by ShinRa. I hope you understand.'
