Day to Two of Chasing My Dream.
Second day after a long thought process and endless nights of heart ache and constant worrying over a relationship that I already knew that was bound to fail. I finally ended my ties with a person who I thought was TRULY the one. But to start this story and how this has come to be I have to go back to a time where I lost my sanity. That's right a mental hospital. I met her, and for reasons I will not mention her name for her protection, at Saint Simmons by the sea in Georgia. It was November 23 a day before thanksgiving that I had laid eyes on this mysterious yet alluring woman. At this time I was a broken man who had concaved to his depression and anxiety from years of abuse by military stress as well as abuse from personal, but that's another story to get into later. But as we made I contact I refrained myself from saying anything thinking that she thinks I’m insane just like most of the people who were also with me. But like a curious cat she came to me and without hesitation talked to me as if were friends for awhile. This woman who I just met had opened my heart and gave me purpose to live again and I soon wanted to break away and get out this asylum just so I can see her again. We went on several meaningful dates and opened our darkest secrets and trusted each with our hearts. But what I hadn’t realized was that I was playing fire and most definitely got burned. As wild as a roaring flame, and yes I like to get a little poetic, she was burning out of control no in the essence of how she carry her self but how life was feeding her so much struggles to increase that flame. I constantly would reach out to that flame to help her in her time of need but got burned because of it. Every I get burned it would hurt more than the last until finally. One day I had enough. I wanted to free myself from this hell so rather to continue my efforts to keep trying for her when she had no attentions to reach out for me. I decided that today would be the day I cut my ties with her. Though I say this I know deep down in my heart if she were to ask me again in her time of need for my assistant I’d rush into those flames just to save her. But right now I have a fire inside me and I’m pushing for my future. Maybe one day I’ll come back for her because even though it hurt me to stay. She was the thing that kept me from burning up from life.
