As a survivor of CSA, it’s always so jarring to me seeing the content I have. Being told the things I have been told by these sorts of people. It’s also insanely disrespectful and disheartening to see my own trauma be used as a way for these people to justify what they are doing. Constantly speaking for me and others like me. And ignoring how fictional content can in fact harm in real life children and survivors.

The idea that fictional CP cannot affect reality in any way is a form of white supremacy. Drawing children naked because you find it interesting is a pedophilic action. And I’m sorry, if you are giving content to pedophiles, you are just as bad as them. Content like this has been used to groom children in fandom spaces. Turning a blind eye to it does nothing but make you complicit.

As a real life survivor, I wish enablers wouldn’t speak over me in such a way.
