This meme, know as the Yes - Roundabout / To Be Continued meme, originated from the show JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: an anime from Japan that plays the song Roundabout from the band Yes followed by a “to be continued” graphic. The end credit has turned into a meme by people taking audio of Roundabout and the “to be continued” graphic and applying it at the climax of a video right before an event reaches it’s resolution. The goal of the meme is to be humorous, with building suspense at a normally tense or bizarre situation and ending it on a cliffhanger before its resolution.
