Hi!! I made fanart of CDDD bc it’s cemented itself as one of my favorite fics! The visual of Mikey running up his made up staircase next to all the screens made me really inspired to draw it! If I knew how to do lighting and backdrop shading it’s probably would’ve actually looked good lol, I still hope you like it! Also for some reason when I was imaging the scenes as I was reading I imagined Mikey would take on like a more “vibrant and cartoony/2D” appearance in the digital space compared to the more saturated 3D style of 2012, like he subconsciously depicted his form as more eye popping, to reflect his sunny vibrant personality and also to, yknow, be more attention grabbing

Shredder probably has a specific hatred for Michelangelo. Like all the other turtles see him as a threat and approach him with some level of fear, but Mikey is either too stupid or too confident to be scared of him. What happens when you take away Shredder and his frightening aura? You just get an old guy who’s really good at ninjitsu. It just so happens that Mikey is pretty darn good at that too.

i think the genius of the Tenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is that the basic premise is so naturally insane, you can just kind of do anything with it. Nothing feels out of place because honestly, what is "normal" for the TMNT? gritty and dark stories about a battle ofninjas? sure. A show that focus on them being teens and their relationship drama? yeah that works. A "monster of the week" style show with them all being goofballs?you know what sure. Space alternate dimensions adventures where they battle world conquerors? yeah i get it. Nothing is the limit for TMNT because they already broke the limit at the base idea.
