Happy disability pride month! If you know me, you know my situation, and if you don’t you might remember this post i made over a year ago.

I’m River, a physically disabled lesbian living alone after escaping an abusive home + arranged marriage. I’m unemployed bc of my worsening disability and the money we raised last year is running out. I need to move into a more permanent and accessible housing. Living alone + very far from the city is not sustainable as I’m bedridden most days. Finding accessible housing is hard as everytime I find one it’s gone almost immediately since we don’t have the necessary deposit at hand to secure it.

I’m looking to raise £5,000 to cover deposit, few months rent, furniture and moving costs, as well as my basic needs. We need to raise this in at least a month (Aug 18).

My sister's funeral was hard to get through. It still feels surreal that she's gone. One nice thing though is that we found out my sisterhad just gotten a kitten. Our parent's can't takw careof her and I don't really have money for a couple weeks but I couldn't lether go to a shelter.

My sister apparently left a note about her and her name is Nascar because all she seems to do is zoom around. As I said, I don't have much money until around the 3rd full week of july and most of that check is going to pay 2 people back and rent. Most of Mac's stuff had gotten taken when my apartment was broken into so if anyone is down to help out I do need to get her food, toys, and to the vet to get her shots. It'll be about $200 and I currently have $26. below are pics of the little speed demon below on my bed. she isn't a cost i anticipated but i'm incredibly lonely after losing Mac and my sister and she seems so sad w/o someone too
