Three different parts of the realm of Hades:

Fields of Punishment. For murderers, rapists, people with no good redeeming qualities, people who had gone against the gods (Sisyphus and Tantalus come to mind).

Fields of Asphodel/Asphodel Meadows. The basic crowd, the largest bunch. People who were an even mix of good and bad. Unremarkable, nothing happens there, you just wander around for eternity.

Elysium/Elysian Fields. For the pure of heart, the sacrificial ones, the people who died heroes. Within Elysium is the Isle of the Blest, or the place for those who chose rebirth and ended up in Elysium three times when they died. Very exclusive, very small, basically the equivalent of Eden.

Different myths say different things about who goes where, but those three places are always the same.

Tartarus was generally reserved for monsters and titans, though I’m sure some myths would argue for evil humans being thrown there as well.

Hades is the RULER of the Underworld. Not the Underworld itself.

I’m about to be homeless because of the government shutdown

So as a lot of you might know I’ve been struggling badly the past few months trying to find extra sources of income besides the one job I had through the state. It was only 300 a month but when it’s all you have it makes a biiiiig difference when it’s gone. I was doing doordash and lyft to make ends meet besides, but that 300 was what I was paying my rent with. And now I don’t have it.

IHSS, the agency I work for, is funded through the state but since the beginning of the year time cards haven’t been being sent out and barely any workers have been paid and it’s impossible to get through to the call center.

Anyway, I do tarot readings. I might open up drawing commissions but that would be a separate post. I need to get 300 dollars together somehow bc if my landlord doesn’t get his money by next week me and my cat are homeless. I recently got another job at a vets office, but they don’t pay me until the 25th and it’s part time anyway and I wouldn’t be getting enough for rent.
