This isn't my usual kind of content but I wanted to get this off my chest because I've been dealing with this since late May. I had a pretty bad subluxation of my left knee around late May/early June and this is the third time this has happened to me on the same knee. I went to the doctor and did an MRI. Unfortunately, I learned that because of my skeletal anatomy, I'm kind of high risk to that. Much to my great dismay. So the past months I've been in physical therapy to get off crutches. Which thankfully I did but now my newest problem is my quad strength. It's been non-existent. I feel like I've been trying so hard yet my quad hasn't activated and now my knee muscles are tightening to compensate for that missing strength every time I walk, stand on both or just the left leg. And if I try to relax those muscles and stand on that leg I feel it wanting to buckle because the quad just doesn't want to fcking work. My entire summer just ruined all because I did a lunge while exercising at home. My entire summer going to the doctor, therapy, and worrying that I'm not recovering the way that I should, this injury has made me miserable for days. Weeks. And months. I feel stuck in my own body. I'm just so tired, man.
