it's amazing how my great love(grandma) died and I just have to keep moving, keep going to work, keep interacting with others like this isn't a significant shift in my life.

I made a prayer list in my notes app in 2019. The other day I realised that I could finally check off one (answered) prayer. After 2+ years. I had brushed off the list, bc I didn't even think it would happen. A reminder that God is not my personal genie, and that He answers in time if it His will.

I opened my Bible and realised it's been over 10 years since I got it.

On October 8, 2013, after expressing my desire for a Study Bible, I received one by my Tumblr friend, @christianhomemaker.

Thank you again for this gift, I will forever treasure it. May the Lord continue to bless you.

Testimony (by Grandma)

About two or so years ago, my grandmother fell off her bed and ever since, the use of her left arm was limited, it was very stiff and she couldn't put on her clothes without help etc.

We were talking and she revealed to me she was watching some sermons on YouTube the night before, and the pastor said he was going to be praying for those afflicted with shoulder pain etc.

She said he was saying 'join your faith with mine', 'lift up your hand in faith'...and she did! Her left arm is healed in the name of Jesus! She was demonstrating to me... Her left arm was so flexible like nothing had happened!

Look at faith!

Amazing. Thank you, Jesus.

Tumblr looks so different now!

It's been a while...

I'm back in HR, doing my thing - employee relations must be my destiny 'cause I'm a customer service girlie through and through! My job also paid for me to do an industrial relations course...I hope to get a B, at least.

Currently on a weight loss journey which is 90% aesthetics and 10% health related lol. I just want to look better in clothes, even though my health problems go beyond that. Not to mention the skin...it is so expensive to take care of, but I must get to a point where I'm comfortable.

I got a car in 2021, and I must say...I hate driving. It is terrifying. I barely drive.

Had a crush last year, did something nice for them and was ignored so...never again.

Went back to the psychiatrist but he is not the best so now searching for a new one.

Navigating life as a 30-something is hard...adulting sucks ass. It really does, but I'm trying.

I think that's it for now.

Spanish Town Independence Celebration Site

A seven acre lot at the corner of Burke and March Pen Roads in the Old Capital being prepared to host the independence celebrations in this July 12, 1962 Gleaner photo.
