the whiskers. they come from within. the whiskers come from within.
have you heard of our lord and saviour jesus christ?
whatever you do try not to think about phil celebrating his 40th birthday on stage next year with the guy he fell in love with when he was 22
they should invent a sleep schedule. any at all
erm, waiter something weird with my lawlight....
This episode of the phodcast felt like reuniting with an old friend <3
(I miss his skits from the 'reason's why dan's a fail (yay!)' era every day)
(24 feb, 2026)
rewatched the shut up im talking dan and phil feature today and i really like how many moments there are where dan and others refer to phil's authority (or expertise i guess) and phil is giving really good and heartfelt advice too, on what it means to pursue something creatively and forming an actual community of audience that stays and grows with you
dan answers specific questions to the hiatus and burn out and authenticity but more often on how it is Phil who speaks on more about Youtube broadly and to give advice and on being the #1 believer of Let's Try This Before Fully Giving Up
it really is a nice episode and i think very good representative of Dan and Phil beyond the bits they do; the efforts the beliefs and the smarts going into building a successful (and important!) career out of something that wasn't even conceivable when they started
Guys, it's getting toxic again
We all know the couple's pose was a big scary deal for them, plus Phil has recently become more stressed about his hand placement, even asking people not to comment on it at some point (I think flower show pic).
So the moment they finally hit a relaxed pose with no awkwardness and no hand issues, people find other things to nit-pick, like the fact that they seemingly only know one pose (which, if you look at the video, is just not fair anyway), or something about the angle of Phil's head.
Yes, the hand thing has been funny in the past, but banter comes with nuance and I feel strongly that people overshot it here. Let them fall back on their safety poses if the one thing they do differently that night is a big and scary deal. Joke about poses another time.
If you think it's "not that deep", kindly move along - the fact that I'm posting it means I think it is.
if u even care

he likes him <3 really <3
Ohh Phil… you silIy man
questioning trans people are always asked if they could push a button to change them to the opposite gender would they do it
but the real question is if you could push a button to become whatever dan howell is would you do it. that’s what i wish to become.
thinking about phil and his controversially young boyfriend
i long for the days phil will officially be in his 40s and dan will be relentless abt the optics of it all
what if you were GAY and you FELL DOWN in the shower and your situationship of 16 years LAUGHED at you
