The Sun that Shone like Loving Dogs
A Short Story
by invitationless
Yahaba Shigeru was thinking about Oikawa Tooru again. Oikawa was a friendly angel with charming eyes and beautiful thighs. Yahaba walked over to the window and reflected on his shiny surroundings. He had always loved loud Volleyball Club with its grieving, glorious gym. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel smitten. Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the a friendly figure of Oikawa Tooru. Yahaba gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a cocky, flirtatious, squash drinker with scrawny eyes and handsome thighs. His friends saw him as an amused, angry angel. Once, he had even revived a dying, kitten. But not even a cocky person who had once revived a dying, kitten, was prepared for what Oikawa had in store today. The sun shone like loving dogs, making Yahaba excited. Yahaba grabbed a clean volleyball that had been strewn nearby; he massaged it with his fingers. As Yahaba stepped outside and Oikawa came closer, he could see the quarrelsome glint in his eye. Oikawa gazed with the affection of 3753 happy faint foxes. He said, in hushed tones, "I love you and I always have." Yahaba looked back, even more excited and still fingering the clean volleyball. "Oikawa, I’m sorry for not showing it, but I have loved you all along,," he replied. They looked at each other with happy feelings, like two brawny, breakable blue bottles shouting at a very hilarious winning nationals, which had music playing in the background and two helpful uncles jumping to the beat. Yahaba regarded Oikawa's charming eyes and beautiful thighs. "I feel the same way!" revealed Yahaba with a delighted grin. Oikawa looked in love, his emotions blushing like a shy, sour shoe. Then Oikawa came inside for a nice beaker of squash.
