He held onto her just as tightly, trying not to admit to himself just how much she was part of him now and just how much he really needed her. It was a hard thing to deny though. As much as he never really cared for anyone else this way and only had an apathetic attitude towards everything, he couldn’t deny his feelings for the amazing girl that was in holding onto him like she never wanted to let go again.
David let the embrace last a long while, breathing in her scent as rested his cheek at the top of her head. Eventually, he drew away from her so that they could be face to face. “Thanks for finding me. It would have sucked if I had never seen you again.” He grinned at her, his lips showing that he was making light of it, yet his eyes betrayed him. They were serious when he thanked her and they shone with intensity and love for her.
“Now, I recall telling you that I would get you home. I think we’ve been through a lot.” The idea of crashing into bed with Jane sounded pretty damn enticing right about now. “So, your place or mine?” He twitched up a corner of his lips at the cheesy line.
Looking down at the dead girl at their feet he added, “I’ll let you think about that while I get rid of the evidence. Last thing we need is to draw attention. Missing people is fine, but unexplained murdered corpses is another.”
He hated to leave her side but easily picked up the dead body and brought it back to the mausoleum where he threw her into the casket with the other victims, before returning to Jane.
“Offering your place now, are we?” Jane teased, realizing she’d never been to where he lived before. She always wondered what it was like residing in the ruins of a once glamorous turn-of-the-century hotel.
For the first time since everything unraveled, Jane was relieved. Okay, so she wasn’t human. She was anything but human, but she had David again. He made her complete, he gave her a sense of purpose. They had each other and for now, all was right in the world.
“Hudson’s Bluff isn’t too far from here,” she comprehended as she glanced over her shoulder, as if expecting to see the said location magically pop up behind her. “With all the shit you’ve been through, I say let’s go that way. Besides, it’ll give me some time to think of what to tell Maria when you come back to our place and she sees you again. Yup, she’s still my roommate after all this time. Amazing, I can stand another human being in the same quarters as me.”
It helped that Maria didn’t stick her nose into her business, nor did Jane do that to her. The two women respected each other’s spaces, hence why they got along so well to begin with. For now, despite what she said about what to tell Maria, Jane wanted to get to the cave and look over David to make sure he truly was okay.

David watched with awe at the magnificent power and the thing that Jane had became. The way she took the girl’s life was a thing of beauty. He couldn’t help but be turned on by Jane and what she had become. He had always had a thing for the blonde before and had owed her a lot when she had nursed him back to health, but this went beyond that. He had a hunger for her now. A primal need.
“I know” he agreed and stepped over the fresh corpse. The blood from the wounds were steaming in the cool night air. Jane had really done a number on that one. David smirked, holding back a chuckle. Served the bitch right for even associating with those fucking assholes that had done this to him.
He closed in on her and kissed her long and hard, not giving a shit that she was looking like a monster with all the fangs and red eyes. Hell he looked worse than that every time he fed and any time he was angry. It actually made him fee more connected to her that they shared having a demonic side.
Jane flinched when his lips touched hers, and she grabbed him by the front of his trench coat. Her intention was to shove him away and to curse or growl, get even more pissed off, possibly destroy something… anything other than kiss him back, and yet that was exactly what she did. She couldn’t help it. Like the vampire before her, the connection she shared with him brimmed with strength. It was like nothing she ever experienced before, but it was ironically familiar, and it was because of David; the same David she met long ago, the same one she chose to help, the same one who had been taken away, and the same one who helped renew her own life. She saved him, and now he saved her.
She finally did shove him away but she released the grip over his coat. She touched her face and her mouth, wondering how different she probably looked. When she felt nothing out of the ordinary, she turned around and searched for a mirror that wasn’t broken. Disregarding the dead woman, she walked around the ruined car and saw that the passenger mirror only had a small crack in it, despite the heavy damage she inflicted on the other side.
The mirror revealed a transparent image of her, due to the vampire blood in her system. She looked human once more, and though she resembled a ghost, she could still see much of herself. Her main focus was on the heavy tattoos that adorned much of her skin and the radically shaved hairstyle she chose sometime after David vanished. Even though he’d been away for some time, she knew he wasn’t dead. She knew he was out there somewhere, but even when she waited for him and often searched, she felt like she needed to make personal changes. Part of the influence was from David (not that she would ever admit to it) but the other part was her need to free herself from her past. The demon heritage was certainly a drastic change from her old self, though she was sure she could have done without in some ways.
Jane grabbed the car mirror with her bare hands and effortlessly ripped it clean off its side. She then chucked it into the field where the vehicle was parked before walking back over to where David was. Glass crunched beneath her shoes as she didn’t bother to admire her destructive handiwork, as her attention was on David once more. She wanted to look at him, admire his roguishly handsome features, gaze into his cool blue eyes, and taste his lips once more. But she was never the overly romantic type, and she could never see herself as one of those girls who clung desperately to their men and attached themselves to their hips. Still, she had to admit: she fucking missed the hell out of him.
Closing her eyes, she threw her arms around him and buried her face in the crook of his neck. Her grip was unquestionably strong, as if silently challenging anyone to even dare to try him away from her again.
can this please get a reblog if you believe rp ships don't have an expiration date?
like unless there was some fall out that happened along the way. and whether it’s been a long or short while since our ship interacted and/or since we as muns have spoken/plotted something about it, you’d still be cool with starting that ship over or perhaps picking up where they left off ??

David carried her listless form away from the mausoleum and down the cemetery hill toward one of the roads that ran through it. Jane’s was barely hanging onto consciousness as her head swayed and her statements became confused.
“Damnit, Jane, stay with me!” He was trying to get her from going unconscious but he meant it in more ways than just that. Jane was all he had. His family, his brothers, had all been taken from him by the Emersons and those comic book store wannabe vampire hunters. The idiots didn’t even know the only way to truly put down a vampire; they didn’t dispose of their corpses in the right way. The only way to truly get rid of a vampire was to decapitate them, soak their corpse in holy water and then bury them away from their heads. Some even burned the heads for good measure. But these newbs didn’t do any of that. David had later gone back (as soon as he was physically able to) to retrieve the remains of the other Lost Boys, his club, his family… He had left the sorry carcasses of them deep in the cave, their resurrection was going to take a lot of time and a lot of blood. He hadn’t told Jane he had started the process because he figured she wouldn’t want to hear of the blood bath that would ensue. She was human after all, or at least they had thought so before now.
Jane was the only family he had right now, and he wasn’t about to let her die. He didn’t want her to hate him for the rest of her life by being forced into becoming one of him, but if he needed to, he would force his blood down her throat to keep her alive; her anger be damned. It would be better that she was pissed off and alive rather than dead. As he made up his mind to do just that, he noticed a car on the road. Its engine was idling and there was a girl standing outside the drivers side door of the car, a bottle of booze to her lips. David stealthily approached her, feeling the same vengeful feeling he did when he took out the other surf nazis that must have come with her. A thought passed through him when he reached her. What if Jane actually gained life from those she reaped? It was worth a shot. And if this didn’t work, vampire blood was the only answer.
Coming up on the girl, he yelled to Jane, “Grab hold of her, Jane! Put her down!”
Jane heard David’s voice, but she couldn’t make out what he was saying. It sounded urgent… Desperate…
The hairs on the back of her neck rose as she was unknowingly brought closer to her intended victim. Without even thinking, she brought a hand up and grabbed the woman by the back of the arm. Fingernails dug deep into the warm flesh, and the all too familiar lull of Jane’s reaping abilities sparked to life. The woman dropped her bottle, where it shattered into pieces on the street. She started to fall to her knees, but the unusual strength Jane had on her arm was beyond belief. She whimpered and cried as her life was drained from her, and in turn, Jane’s entire being was renewed with life.
Her eyes fluttered open and her vision was completely restored. Sight, sound—it all came back with improved force. Along with it was a ravenous appetite that needed to be sated.
“GRAH!” Jane howled as she pushed herself out of David’s grasp and threw herself at the woman. With deadly force, she slammed the woman against her own car so hard that it shattered the windows. Even when broken glass rained down upon them, Jane didn’t stop shaking the woman like a ragged doll and slamming her into the car over and over again. Her eyes burned red and when opened her mouth, it was filled with monstrous fangs. The once lonely hermit had transformed into something far beyond human comprehension.
Finally, Jane let go and the female, with her broken spine and lacerated shoulders and arms, slumped to the ground next to her broken bottle of beer, dead, due to the trauma she endured. Jane then turned around and stood on her feet, glaring at David. It was as if she didn’t recognize him, yet the words that came out of her mouth said otherwise.
“You owe me big time for draining me.”

be0neofus:
His anger rose, making his blood practically boil as rage coursed through his body causing his adrenaline to spike and all of the muscles in his body to tighten, like a cat of prey ready to attack.
“How the fuck did a bunch of little punks like that get the better of me? I don’t even remember it.”
He didn’t wait to hear her reply because he could hear his enemies approaching. Their care free attitudes pissed him off even more. As they entered the mausoleum he came in behind them, blazing fiery orange eyes, fangs and fury. The first one, that was taking up the rear of the group was the first to die. It was so swift that the other two didn’t even know what was happening until their little friend was dead and missing a chunk from his neck. The other two started screaming but David didn’t give them any time to react, jumping another and ripping him to shreds like an animal. The last one tried sneaking around David to flee from the door of the tomb, but David rose and flew after him, knocking him down and ripping him apart from his back and feeding from the back of his neck.
When they were all dead and he had his fill, he tossed all their bodies in the crypt and barred the heavy doors, feeling completely rejuvenated and strong once more.
He returned to Jane, wiping the blood off his chin with the back of his forearm. Being able to now fully focus on her, he could see how pale she was from the blood loss. He easily picked her up, bride and groom style, and started carrying her.
“Let’s get you home. You know, I could heal you by giving you my blood. You would be turned into a half vampire, but I would be okay with that.” He glanced down at her, pressed up against his bare chest, and grinned slightly. It was a long running joke between them; him trying to get her to become one of them and live forever with him. Although, before now he thought she was a mere mortal. It seemed there was more to her than met the eye, much more.
“Great… I’ll be a… half vampire-half demon... freak of nature,” Jane mumbled as her forehead rested against his cold skin. So much had happened in such a short amount of time. It was becoming more difficult to think, let alone speak. She was too weak to even hold her own head up.
The journey to finding David had been worth it. He was the first person she willingly opened herself up to and developed genuine feelings for. When he went missing, her persistence to finding him knew no bounds. She never depended on anyone in her adult life, because she was used to being alone. She was self-sufficient. She didn’t NEED anyone… Or so she thought. David changed that. Hell, if he hadn’t lost his entire family to those vampire slayers, maybe their paths wouldn’t have crossed. Or maybe she would have ended up as one of his victims down the road?
“What the hell… am I thinking about?” she groaned as her vision went dark. She felt herself being carried away out of the humid mausoleum where her bare skin was greeted with the welcoming ocean breeze.
David wasn’t going to let her die, but she couldn’t help but wonder what would happen if she did perish? What would David do? Go start up another vampire pack? Or go after the ones who destroyed his first family? Or both? The thought of leaving him bothered her. She didn’t WANT to die. If anything, if it was her time to go, she sure as hell was going to see to it that she ended her own life. Stubborn until the very end.
this rper respects other rpers, regardless of whether they’re selective or not.
reblog this if you think that people shouldn’t send hate to others if they’re selective, not selective, mutuals only, or not mutuals only. if you believe that roleplaying’s supposed to be fun, and people should be able to roleplay with whoever they want!
