Powerscourt Waterfalls & Gardens - The perfect place for an afternoon stroll. With views over the Wicklow mountains, a delicious coffee shop overlooking the gardens and mountains and the option of a leisurely hike around Powerscourt Waterfall too. There is a pay in charge of €7 for students and €8 for adults to enter the waterfall and gardens each. Car transportation is needed A great afternoon will be had by all ages here.
Glencree Mountain Loop, situated right on the border between Co. Dublin and Co. Wicklow.
Beautiful views over Dublin and the Dublin mountains, before the low clouds and fog rolled in.
And yes, it was as cold as it looks!

Killiney Hill - My favourite thing about this hike is that it offers something a little bit different. While offering stunning views of the Dublin/Wicklow coastline from a top Killiney hill itself, at the bottom you will be treated to a striking beach stroll or the opportunity to cool off with a swim in the Vico Baths.
Nestled between the stunning villages of Dalkey and Killiney, you won’t be short of places to eat or drink either. Easily accessible by dart services from Killiney.
Ticknock Hiking Trail - Providing panoramic views over Dublin City and the surrounding Wicklow Mountains, this hike ticks all the boxes with many hills, slopes and viewing points. This hike takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes but contains further routes and forested areas for those of us who want to continue the fun! These extra routes can take up to 3 hours. A newly opened coffee shop is available in the car park for a place to refuel, relax and ponder the memories of a great hike! The only down side of this hike is that it is only accessible by car.
The Bray to Greystones trail - we surely weren’t disappointed. We decided to start at Greystones instead because we wanted to boost our energy for the walk and try the Happy Pear Cafe for their famous hommos and fresh coffee. We strongly recommend. Breathtaking views and scenery greeted us throughout this trail. The walk took around 3 hours which included a nice break in between. After arriving to Bray we treated ourselves to a well deserved pint(s) in The Harbour Bar, while enjoying the beach views! Easy access by dart services and/or car.
