College AU [based on my experiences]

im back! -ish! i keep forgetting to post here i plan on getting back on drawing again and hopefully get my traction back 😅

little bit of background/concept:

im a multimedia arts student and since ashley went to art school, i would most likely get along with her first since we'd probably have a lot of common classes and stuff

i have very little friends in college because im very picky with the people i actually want to be friends with so ashley being one of the (very) few good people out there, i would most likely be friends with her (also i just generally make friends with girls first because a lot of my friendships with guys just. werent very great. and a lot of them tend to be very shitty people)

ANYWAYS, through her, i would probably meet/make friends with todd next just because hes gay and that in my head lessens the probability of a guy being a jerk. which is ironic because i had a very traumatizing queer friendgroup in highschool (that evil twink will pay) that led me to be very picky with my friends in the first place lol

i plan on making my character meet sal last for that dramatic effect so i would meet larry next. now this is kind of where the 'uh oh. is this where i regret befriending people again' because in my experience anyways, a lot of alt people in my college just. tend to also be shitty. youd think youve met someone cool and then they bring their friend over who casually just drops the n-word and they just tolerate it and not say anything about it like damn 🫤 thats disappointing. BUT GOOD THING LARRY ISNT THAT AND HES ACTUALLY COOL AND CHILL AND ACTUALLY A VERY DECENT PERSON TO BE FRIENDS WITH and he also likes art and painting and i think we'd also get along well 😊

and lastly, the one and only, sal fisher. sal has a very recognizable presence because of his mask so i would probably see him around campus even if we don't have a lot of the same classes. i would think that he was a girl and be pleasantly surprised when ashley introduces him because yeah im not going to lie and not say that the mask makes him look interesting and youd naturally want to know more about it even if it was only a passive thought. that and he wears really cute clothes at school and his hair is just almost always styled with pigtails (niel mentions in the game that he actually rarely wears his hair down)

so imagine my surprise that the cute girl ive been seeing around campus finally opens her mouth and OH MY GOD THATS A DUDE. THATS A WHOLE ASS DUDE IM SO SORRY I THOUGHT YOU WERE A GIRL. i would probably think that thats so cool and wonder just how he got away with wearing dresses and skirts considering my school has a strict dress code policy (i got caught. because dyed hair wasnt allowed and they almost saw my piercings and i said they were fake lmao. but they also complimented my style and said it was unique??? but then they lifted the dyed hair ban a week after and allowed the guys 1 pair of earrings because a lot of the college students just dgaf 🤣)

ANYWAYS i also actually tend to get mistaken for a guy irl because i have a very stocky? build and whenever i wear loose clothes and put my hair up (because im fat and its fucking hot in the philippines and im oily skinned so ITS HOT) i get called a dude (which i dont mind. #anypronounsgang) so i think itd also be funny if sal thought i was a dude too 😂

anyways we become friends, i finally have a group of friends that are totally chill and totally not weirdos/bigots/racists/etc etc and absolutely nothing happens between me and sal because im aromantic and have low self esteem and would never ever make a move even if i think hes hot AS FUCK and HED never make a move because he ALSO has a low self esteem and would never ever think that someone would actually like him romantically (and he may not even be into me anyways 🤣 /his feelings for ash never went away) so thats it we both graduate virgins and we stay as friends until losing contact after college and we forget about each other the end 💔
