what artistic medium do you use to express your feelings?
All of my most intense feelings are channeled into my typewriter! I once typed out a whole manuscript in a singular day, after Daddy returned from a long work trip overseas! But when I’m mad, Daddy tells me that the whole house can tell, with how hard I pound on the keys.
could you beat susie in a fight?
Oh certainly not, hehe! I’ve seen Susie toss around Runo like he’s made of paper, and he’s a full grown man! Imagine what she could do if she got hold of me!
could you beat hurley in a fight?
Hmm… I think it depends! Daddy is rather frail - a single shot with any of my inventions tends to send him sprawling to the floor! But then again, he’s rather agile, and could easily climb up the walls of the house to somewhere I can’t quite reach… He’s also a good lot larger than I, so if he managed to grapple me or pick me up, there wouldn’t be much I could do…
could you beat runo in a fight?
I could manage it! If I caught him off-guard, I could shoot him in the face with one of my smoke guns. That always tends to take people to the floor! Once he was down, it would be quite easy to go at him with any weapon, really. Plus, not to mention, I can’t exactly see him fighting back— I am a child, after all!!
What is your best life advice?
You have to keep going!! No matter how many problems you run into or how many creative blocks you hit or how many prototype smoke guns blow up in Daddy’s face, you have to keep at it!!
What is something that soothes you?
I enjoy getting my hair done! Daddy usually does it in the morning, but Runo and Susie have also styled it in the past. It’s always so relaxing.
Tell me something good from your day!
I’ve gotten correspondence from Susie!! It’s been far too long since I’ve seen her, I’m so excited!! I’ll be responding to it as soon as I am able!
tell a story about your childhood!
Daddy has told me a lot of stories from when I was a baby. Apparently I used to break out of my crib a lot and go exploring, and so he had to start swaddling me to keep me from running away.
what’s something you’ve always wanted to do but maybe been to scared to do?
I want to try my hand at more crime. Ginny has shown me the ins-and-outs of pickpocketing, but I want more! It would be such a thrill to rob a museum, I think.
favourite things about the night?
I love the mood it creates! It’s usually so foggy at night, and between the darkness and the fog it creates such a perfect atmosphere to get me writing!
best wallpaper colour/design?
I think a good, solid colored wall can look so stylish! Pinks and greens are some of my favorites. Though of course— my favorite walls are the ones covered in books!
favourite thing about the day?
Everything is so lively during the day time! The streets are filled with sound and color and movement, and Daddy is up and about, speaking of his newest cases!
do you believe in ghosts?
Not particularly! I believe that any supernatural occurrences can easily be explained with science. Like Mr. Natsume’s room, for example! No ghosts, just a gas leak.
Share a dark thought?
When I was younger, I used to wonder what would happen if Daddy… didn’t come back from one of his great adventures. They’re exhilarating tales, of course, and they make for such great stories!! But,, with how much danger he always seemed to be in, some nights when he was away, I would get so scared that I might never..
Of course, I know better now! Daddy is always very safe during his investigations. And with him having so many of my greatest inventions on him, there’s no danger he couldn’t thwart!
What do you think of when you hear the word “home”?

If you joined the circus, what would be your act?
Oh, oh! I would love to be an animal tamer! Getting to train and take care of all of the animals sounds like so much fun!
