“what time is it” you ask, i pull out my 2.7 metric ton granite sundial and immediately crush both of your feet, I loudly announce “it is cloudy”
MBTI: Even the…
INFJ: Even the kind, have limits.
ENFJ: Even the leader can lose hope.
ISFJ: Even the empathetic can stop caring.
ESFJ: Even the great can fall.
ISTJ: Even dedicated can become tired.
ESTJ: Even the doer can lose their way.
INTJ: Even the logic has a heart.
ENTJ: Even the General can be vulnerable.
INFP: Even the faithful can lose faith.
ENFP: Even the happiest can be sad.
INTP: Even the analytical has emotions.
ISTP: Even the brave have fears.
ESTP: Even the confident can have doubt.
ISFP: Even the abstract can lose sight.
ESFP: Even the cheerful can become somber.
ENTP: Even the fighter can drop the sword.

Who to Criticize and Who to Affirm
A guide to answering the question “What do you think?”
ENFJ: Always affirm. They want to hear that whatever they created is the best thing since sliced bread. Criticism is met with aggression. Suggestions are hit or miss.
ENFP: Affirm. They don’t need it as much as ENFJs, but they still want the confidence of knowing that their work is good. Offer minor suggestions if any.
ENTJ: Start with affirming. Then you can also move on to point out things they could do better, and they will value your feedback.
ENTP: Say exactly what you think, and be clear about it. They’re likely to take your words very seriously.
ESFJ: Affirmations are appreciated, but you should also be honest. As long as you go along with their excuses (ex: “I got no sleep last night”), you’re fine.
ESFP: The shorter you make your feedback, the better. “I think you could add more in the second paragraph, but otherwise it looks good.”
ESTJ: Honest feedback. As long as you explain your thought process, they will not be offended by it.
ESTP: Affirm more than you would think to; their egos are like pufferfish. Like ESFPs, keep criticism short.
INFJ: Play it safe and affirm. This is especially true if they’re worried about their words/writing offending someone and they need to make sure it isn’t.
INFP: Be honest, but not too harsh. If you have criticisms, it helps to explain your thought process so they fully understand what you mean.
INTJ: Give real, honest feedback. They don’t really care about affirmations and wouldn’t ask if they didn’t want to genuinely know how they’re doing.
INTP: Stick with affirm if they seem uncertain, because INTPs doubt everything, or if not try to start a discussion about what they are doing well or could do better.
ISFJ: Point out specific corrections and be direct but kind. Affirmations aren’t entirely necessary but always appreciated.
ISFP: Be honest and briefly explain things. If they’ve already decided on something, don’t expect to change their mind. It also helps to end on a positive note.
ISTJ: Keep criticisms minimal and gauge their reaction. They already know more or less which things you’re supposed to point out, and so if they don’t agree, stop.
ISTP: Be honest and to the point. They don’t need sugar coating, but know that they feed off of people telling them they’re talented.

The stereotypes and the types as I know them - what’s real about stereotypes?
INTJ stereotype: serious, efficient, has no feelings, arrogant
“Real” INTJ: Apart from me, my sister’s an INTJ. We are literally so childish it hurts, and we can’t go for two minutes without cracking up at a joke we’ve made. Telepathy, though: we say the same stuff at the same time. When a task is not stimulating enough we can be the worst procrastinators ever. We don’t show our feelings to the outer world, which DOESN’T mean we don’t have them - with her I’ve had the deepest and most emotional conversations. Usually we are pretty humble, but oh boy, do we get arrogant when we know we can do things better than other people…
INFJ stereotype: fortune-teller, know they are unique, forgetful, daydreamer
“Real” INFJ: my aunt. I introduced her to the MBTI theory. Every time I show her another personality type she wishes she were them (ISTJ, for example). REALLY BAD Se: forgets everything. Thrice. When we were in South Africa we saw a giraffe in front of the jeep. She went on glancing around and asking “where’s it?” for two minutes. Gives the best advice, but doesn’t think so.
INTP stereotype: awkward, has a romantic interest in science, nerd
“Real” INTP: he’s my aunt’s boyfriend. Really smart, doesn’t talk very much, likes to mock people. He talks in a unique sort of way, it’s funny. Has some weird quirks (he blocked everyone on WhatsApp because he didn’t want to be bothered, he unblocks them when they are sending him something, he also tells them he blocked them); also comes to family dinners like at Christmas dressed with hiking boots.
Stereotype ENTJ: bossy, rigid, scary, probably owns half of the world’s companies, also president of the world
“Real” ENTJ: I have known a couple of ENTJ women in my life, they all were really intelligent, independent and tough. One of them had three degrees and several hobbies, including playing the piano, yoga and fencing. However, she could be kind and understanding, other than funny and sarcastic. She was my drama teacher. She sensed I was the only introvert in the group and helped me, telling me that I should never, ever feel inferior to extroverts because they are more spontaneous in acting. She’s been very helpful and important for me.
Stereotype ISTP: owns a motorbike, does 1000+ dangerous activities, Wolverine, emotionally detached, cool, sarcastic
“Real” ISTP: my dad. He’s funny in a silly way with his family, can’t express his feelings, so opts for a sarcastic reply, likes going hiking alone in winter, is very reliable in dangerous situations because he has this confident, competent vibe, he doesn’t talk very much, but when you are having a rare, important conversation with him he’s the best and you can sense how much he cares, has a “nobody loves me” puppy face, DAD JOKES.
ISTJ stereotype: rigid, respects every rule, boring, realistic
“Real” ISTJ: one of my dearest friend. It’s like she has two personalities: one is “no, we have to do this, no, you cannot ignore that exercise, you have to do them all, you’re one minute late” and the other is “fuck this, I didn’t find it on the first page of Google, it doesn’t exist, we don’t put it in the presentation”. Reaaaaally sarcastic. Looks at people she finds annoying with a sarcastic smile, they are scared of her. But yes, she studies way too much.
Stereotype INFP: artistic, probably John Lennon, very sensitive, true romantic, hippie, hugs trees, daydreamer
“Real” INFP: best friend. BOOKWORM, loves fantasy and sci-fi, is a ray of sunshine, loves tickling and teasing ISTJ, naïve, not really into romance, fights with teachers about injustices, has a strong moral code, NEVER lies and NEVER swears, loves mythology, likes sarcasm, self-deprecating jokes.
ENFJ stereotype: probably Jesus, starts a new religion, charitable work, sweet, mum friend
“Real” ENFJ: I know two ENFJs and have known a few others that are my acquaintances. The first one is really chatty, has an embarrassing and silly sense of humour, loves Wolverine to death, pretends she doesn’t care, cares too much, sarcasm, empathetic, fashionable
ESFJ stereotype: always gossiping, bakes for everyone, sensitive, but fake
“Real” ESFJ: my mum. She doesn’t like gossiping, kind, very loving, cries if you cry, doesn’t understand us and why we don’t know how to socially behave, doesn’t like sweets, but makes bread for everyone, always at the gym, friends with everyone, naïve, easily offended and doesn’t get sarcasm, but though she is smart, hugs every five seconds
ENTP stereotype: loud, random, smart, king of debates, witty, funny, geek
“Real” ENTP: I just know male ENTPs and I ADORE THEM. My philosophy teacher and one of my friends. The first is really really intelligent and sarcastic. Likes metaphors and hyperboles, likes to bring up society taboos and watch as some students get all furious and try to debate with him, doesn’t know what to do when a student cries and awkwardly tries to cheer them up. The latter is one of my friends, he is very random and a true geek, calls me by my full name, clumsy
ISFP stereotype: sensitive, edgy, emo, hugs trees, aesthetics, easily offended
“Real ISFP”: two of my friends. One is more stereotypical, she has this “go with the flow vibe”, edgy, tries to be cool, ‘80s culture, she’s not very sensitive, doesn’t get mad, ever, feminist
ENFP stereotype: ray of sunshine, always smiling, dumb, random, into yoga and Buddhism
“Real” ENFPs: I know several. They are optimistic, very knowledgeable, rays of sunshine, I make them laugh, childish, honestly hilarious, every ENFP I know is so smart and creative, they are always trying stuff that’s going to be obviously disgusting (onion chips with coconut milk), for real, it makes me want to throw up, most of the time they like it too
ESFP stereotype: loud, dumb, shallow, always partying
“Real” ESFP: creative, smart but doesn’t really show it, likes to party but always regrets it the next morning, honest, curious and spontaneous, confident
Unfortunately I don’t know many ISFJs, ESTPs or ESTJ.
