How did you meet Biggs?

{❧} ---- “I met him while I was forced to work with the Garleans. The two of us met each other and had a lot in common, seeing how both our homes got invaded. So we plotted and escaped.”

What did you think when you put on a pair of glasses for the first time?

{❧} ---- “I was surprised, because I didn’t know how bad my eyes really were until I put on glasses. I was young, so I thought the world was always as blurry as it has been for me up until that point.”

What are Garlean occupied territories like compared to Eorzea?

{❧} ---- “War torn and hard to live in without being part of the army. Even then, being part of the army was horrible.”

What's the most difficult choice that you've ever had to make?

{❧} ---- “Deciding to run away to Eorzea and leave my family behind or stay with the Garleans...”

It wouldn't be any fun if I told you how I know~ But I can tell you that Malito also knows how he actually broke it, so maybe you could try asking him?

{❧} ---- “I mean. The two of them are in a relationship so I’m not surprised that he knows. I may try asking him sometime though...”

I suppose you're right. The actual way he broke it is a bit ridiculous for someone like him, and he probably wouldn't want to talk about it.

{❧} ---- “How do you even know how he broke it? If he didn’t actually fall down a hill...”

That's right! Wouldn't he have walked away from that with at least a few scratches, if not a broken bone or two?

{❧} ---- “...Well, yeah. But I’m not about to question him. He is a scion after all and I don’t really want to ask him about it if there is a different reason he broke his aetherometer.”

Wedge, do you think that Papalymo actually broke his aetherometer by dropping it? Those things tend to be awfully durable considering the scions have taken them into fights before.

{❧} ---- “He didn’t say that he dropped it, he said he tripped and went rolling down a steep hill. I can see that causing it to break. What is strange though is that he didn’t seem injured at all from it...”

“I… I c-can’t do that. The Scions are all t-too important to do that… and they’re my friends too. I can’t hurt them…”

She hated this… she hated feeling small and powerless. All she wanted was to keep her friends safe, and she couldn’t even do that. When Wedge leaned against her, she whimpered yet again, finding herself unable to move away. However, hearing Wedge’s voice made her look up again, and she started to tear up.

“W-Wedge… I… I…”

She wanted to apologize to him for being unable to do anything to help him… But he was obviously struggling with the Voidsent, and she didn’t want to distract him. So, instead, she simply hugged him, hoping it would give him the support he needed to fight against the Voidsent.

Wedge groaned again, shaking as he backed away from her. He felt horrible at the moment, and he stumbled as he pushed away from her. 

{❧} ---- “Tataru...”

He eventually collapsed, and soon passed out. The dark aura around him soon disappeared, and the voidsent decided to go elsewhere intead of fighting with the other for control.

Tataru winced slightly as she felt the other’s hand on her shoulder. She was sure the Voidsent would be able to feel her shaking, even though she was trying to stop herself. After a moment, she ended up looking down, her shoulders slumping. Even the voidsent knew her well enough to know that she didn’t want to risk hurting Wedge.

“N-no… But… I w-want you to leave him alone… Wh-what could get you to do that?”

She wished that she was brave enough to deal with the creature properly, but she wasn’t brave enough or strong enough to do that. So all she could do was ask.

{❧} ---- “Ah... You see... I don’t really know if you can help me with what I need. Someone with strong aether is needed after all.”

They were grinning, and leaned against her. Wedge laughed a bit, before a dark aura started appearing around him and he buried his face in his hands.

{❧} ---- “Urgh... T-Tataru...”

He was trying to force the voidsent out, but it wasn’t exactly easy.

Tataru whimpered quietly, squeezing her eyes shut for a few moments. That had only confirmed her fears, and made her even more terrified than before. She knew she couldn’t fight, and it was obvious that the voidsent knew that as well. So she had very limited options.

“N-No… But I could call for the others… I c-could call for them…”

Of course, there was the matter that they may end up hurting Wedge… And she didn’t want that either.

“Wh-what do you want, anyways…?”

The voidsent giggled, and put their hand on her shoulder. They was rather amused about how the other was reacting. They knew that she was nervous, and they were going to take advantage of that.

{❧} ---- “They could also hurt poor little Wedge. You wouldn’t do that to him, would you?”

Another giggle left them, and they tightened their grip on her shoulder.

My muse cannot give half truths, partial truths or bend the truth. They will have to spit out everything then and there!

“V-Voidsent. That’s what… what I’ve been told, at least.”

When Wedge stepped towards her, Tataru squeaked and took a small step backwards. She started to tremble, obviously terrified at that point. Of course, she was still trying to be brave, but she was still quite scared.

“D-don’t get any c-closer. Or you’ll… You’ll regret it!”

Wedge chuckled, grinning at her as he walked closer. He knew she couldn’t fight anyways. So he wasn’t going to care much if she tried to fight.

{❧} ---- “Awww. But you wouldn’t hurt me, would you?”

The voidsent wasn’t even trying to pretend to be Wedge now.

{❧} ---- “Managing to build something useful and having people actually like it. Like the manacutter!”

{❧} ---- “I’m quiet when I’m drunk. More so than usual.”
