2/13/16 I had a 7 hour layover on my way to Japan in Dubai! I used to be vegan for the first 9 years of my life, then in august 2013 I decided to try eating meat. I've now tried a huge variety of things, some of the more exotic ones includes Monkfish, Emu & Kangaroo. Shark Gristle (cartilage) just got added to the list :D Side note: I unfortunately did not like it, and didn't end up finishing it. It was an interesting experience however, I look forward to trying out more exotic things in the future! (at 丸吟)

鬼金棒 (Kikanbo) in Chiyoda was an awesome ramen store, named after the metal club that the Japanese Demons "Oni" hold. This one is specialized in spicing up the ramen broth, either with a pepper sauce or Sansho pepper sauce (Japanese Sichuan Pepper)! Also their Chaashuu (braised pork) was one of the best I've ever had. Big, hearty but not too oily and extremely tender! (at 鬼金棒カラシビ)
