I’m sorry that It’s been a while since we’ve updated.

Big changes!

Irwin didn’t take to his new bigger cage at all and stopped eating for months. It took a few more months but I finally got him eating, and back to a healthy weight. He has also decided to no longer eat rats.

He is still a very sweet boy-but he scared me! I focused all of my attention on fixing whatever was wrong.

Here he is after eating- and wanting more :)

what size tank does irwin have?

I’ve upgraded him to a 50 gallon tank

He has a true black box hide, a make-shift hide , a PVC pipe to hide in and crawl through, a huge dog bowl for his water dish, two moss plants (more coming soon), several rocks, two tree-like climbing apparatuses, and a climbing rope suspended from the top.

Irwin has been busy!

He got a huge new house and we are currently decorating it to the nines!

He has a rope now and will soon have loads of plants, rocks, and tunnels! We just have to wait for amazon to send them!

Irwin got an A+

Took him to the Vet for his check up and he passed with flying colors. I’m happy to say that the Vet was very impressed with him.

She complimented his scales, his build, and his temperament.

What a good boy!!

I look over a lot and see him just resting his head and surveying his domain.

I think this is as long as Irwin is going to get. I haven’t tried to measure him but I assume is he no longer than 2ft 3in.

I’m planning on taking him to a vet soon, to get him a check up and make him a known patient to a local vet. I want to make sure that he is healthy and in case something does come up that he will be taken care of.

The weather was so nice Yesterday that I took Irwin out and set him in the softest grass on my property and let him slowly uncurl and enjoy the feeling.

Except, he immediately turned around and started for the sidewalk.

Irwin has been out and about more in the evenings and at night. The weather is finally warming up!
