mother discovered that I have a fish while getting clothes baskets from my room while I was at anime mid-atlantic. She then added a little water so "it wouldn't run out of oxygen" (bettas breathe air from the surface partly, so not an issue) untreated aaaaauug

also she fed it a little food. But the flakes, which I don't really use, and there are about 20 flake fragments on the top of the water. Because fish don't eat all that much.

I explained to her why all of what she did was wrong and she told me she was proud of me for knowing all of this information and that a fish was a good pet for me.

But I need to change the water anyway so luckily it's not like I just did and Finn is like whatev so long story short my mom doesn't know how to do fish.

I had a dream last night that I was taking my fish with me on a walk but I had it with some water in the bottom of my samurai messenger bag and I was walking towards the river/woodsy area down my road and it had flooded to everywhere up to the road and there were a lot of snakes and I was watching them carefully but some were IN MY BAG and I shook them out and recollected my fish and two other little fishies I'd found and I killed one snake...

and then I had to go somewhere with my family and I had my fishes in my bag but the water had soaked out so I put in more from my boyfriend's waterbottle and I had three goddamn fish in this bag and we were driving and there was a lot of ivy and then some shit happened and I woke up and was like gdi it's past noon.
