3 days ago, a Black trans woman named Eryka Caldwell was brutally murdered by her boyfriend who repeatedly stabbed her and slit her throat at her home in Brooklyn.

Today is Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, Two-spirit, and LGBTQIA+ Awareness Day.

There are over 5,600 recorded missing Indigenous women, girls, Two-spirit, and LGBTQIA+ folks in the USA, and over 4,000 in Canada.

Indigenous women in the USA have murder rates over 10 times the national average.

Indigenous women in Canada have murder rates 6 times higher than non-Indigenous women in Canada.

Doctors hate when you so much as ask to be tested for a specific condition, because they want control.

Doctors hate when you so much as suggest a med may help you (even when the med has zero recreational value), because they want control.

When we have even the “left wing” Justices on the Supreme Court voting in favor of legalizing conversion therapy, it’s obvious that abolishing the Supreme Court is the only option.

Why do we allow an unelected body of 9 Justices to make decisions for the entire country?

BMI isn’t a good measure of anything, it is merely a tool of oppression.

It’s built on data from white abled perisex cis men & reduces complex bodies to a single number.

The entire assumption that once you reach a certain weight you’re automatically unhealthy is untrue.

EDIT: I also wanted to add that BMI doesn’t even account for what percent of your weight comes from fat and what percent comes from muscle y’all. It literally labels folks who are “too muscular” as “overweight” or “obese”.

Biological sex categories are just as loose & socially constructed as gender categories, & there is 0 reason for trans women to be excluded from being biological women, or trans men from being biological men.

Non-binary folks can identify as biologically non-binary even!

Biological sex being a social construct doesn’t mean your reproductive/sex characteristics don’t exist, it merely means the way we categorize those characteristics is socially constructed.

Correcting a common mistake that folks make:

Neurodiversity = The concept that all our brains are naturally diverse.

Neurodivergence = Brain function that is considered outside the societal norm.

- Tourette’s/Tic Disorders

- Epilepsy/Seizure Disorders

- Bipolar Disorder

- Schizophrenia/Psychotic Disorders

- PTSD/CPTSD

- Traumatic brain injury (TBI)

- Down Syndrome

- Dyslexia

- Dyspraxia

- Dyscalculia

- OCD

- Depression

- Anxiety disorders

Getting angry at someone for disliking Valentine’s Day is incredibly amatonormative behavior that normalizes the idea that everyone has to enjoy romance in a specific way.

This is both anti-Aromantic & ableist towards Neurodivergent folks who experience romance differently.
