Tea and cake. May and Isabet
may-sandor:
May spent an awful lot of time in the Lounge and she wasn’t quite sure why. Maybe it was the open bar - or sometimes meeting new people and gaining some friends - but whatever the reason, she found herself back in the hangout spot once again.
There was a woman she’d never seen there, looking rather comfortable on what looked like a portable hamper. May must have been quite lost in thought for a moment because it didn’t quite click that the woman was talking to her until a small moment had passed.
“Huh? O-Oh, thank you, Miss,” she murmured sweetly, gently taking one of the offered Macaroons before nodding her head. “Y-Yea, it seems that way,” May agreed softly before smiling warmly at the other. “I-I’m Mayabelle. Or May if you prefer that,” the little blonde greeted, sitting in a chair not too far off from the woman’s hamper.
“May, that's a nice name. I am isabet. nice to meet you.” She smiled across at her. “ Feel free to dig in. I adore all french pasties, so they are all there. From choc au pain to croissants.” She said and put her hand to her lip and smiled wistfully. “ I used to love sitting outside a cafe and eating pastries and reading books. Sounds dull by today’s standards but to me, it was calming.”
