( gonna get off the computer for the evening to finish some work for tomorrow, was anyone else snowed in these past few days ? be careful if you're driving anywhere there's so much snow !!! I would have posted a photo but I got sidetracked. and I think by this weekend I'll have a new layout design for Bard because he deserves something for the new year. anyway ! everything I owe will be drafted until tomorrow.

( The idea of a family, of little ones with his hair and her eyes, was appealing. She craved it, the more she thought of it. But he was right. With their life style, kids weren’t in the near future. Her heart dropped a little, but only picked at the fuzz on her leggings. )
"I know… But accidents happen, baby. We have to prepare everything.”
( In the heat of the hunt or the aftermath, they weren’t careful. But bringing a child into this life wasn’t something she could do. No matter how much she wanted to be called ‘mummy’. )
He rubbed at his chin, the silence choking him after she had spoken. He loosened the rosary in his hand, letting it fall a few inches. He idly observed how it swayed from side to side, rethinking all that he had told her. He knew it bothered her and yet she masked her disconsolate state so well. Now was not the time to admire her for it, though. She deserved better than him. ❝I'm sorry I'm not making any of this better by being bitter toward you.❞ He sighed dejectedly, standing up to steal the seat beside her. He tucked the rosary into the pocket of his suit, gazing to her.
❝I. . . don't think we should discuss having children until our tasks are completed. ❞

Alfhild looked up, realizing what she had just said before a blush had formed quickly. Immediately shaking her head. Was she still drunk? "N-Nothing. I said nothing."
❝Are you alright, Alfhild ?❞
His brows creased in the center as his fully faced her, stepping off the boat onto the dock. Unfortunately, the air reeked of fish and he was unable to decipher the hobbit's behavior.
"I’m not."
( She didn’t regret her actions, not like she thought she would. Regretting them would mean regretting Bard and she loved him too much. Crossing her legs, she raised her head high. )
"I was just thinking - what if we have kids one day? What do we do then?”
❝No . . .❞ He couldn't direct this answer to her even if he tried. The idea of a family felt so far-fetched in this present time--he wondered how she thought of those things.
What if ? What if ? What if ? He was wordless. She had that affect on him, though. And he held tighter onto that rosary in his hand to the point the beads were embedding his palm. His jaw clenched, his chest rising as he inhaled a long breath of oxygen. He felt weak in this state of uncertainty, not meeting her eyes just yet. ❝We'd be risking more lives--our children's lives--because of what we do, Sigrun.❞
Her eyes fixed shyly on the ground for a time as she waited for him to speak once more, wondering what sort of reaction the bowman would have to her confession. But feeling his arm moving around her waist, closing the small distance between them, her eyes flickered back up to his, curiosity and vulnerability held within them.
Hearing his words, Tauriel could swear her heart skipped a beat, a bright smile making its way slowly across her lips as their foreheads rested together. Her eyes once again fluttered shut as his lips brushed her forehead, releasing his hand to bring both of her hands to rest lightly on his cheeks as she pressed a delicate kiss to his lips a moment later, smiling once more. He found it difficult to have a life without her? She had only one response to that.
“Then don’t.”
His heart raced rhythmically in that cage he called a chest. The glimmer in his eyes was also seen in her virescent ones, one filled an abundant amount of ardor. He held her close with the instinct to not let go. He was relieved to know the she-elf reciprocated the feelings. As she loosened her hold on his hand, those lithe fingers of his threaded through her fiery locks. His smile was the kind that reached to his eyes, crinkling the corners. When his lips met hers, he wondered if this was heaven, a sacred place where he'd spend the rest of his days with her. And oh, how her lips were like velvet--so soft and inviting. He inhaled sharply as the thought struck him like an arrow through his sternum, causing his senses to go wild. ❝Tauriel, what if. . . we flee together ?❞
"Do you think…it’s possible to redeem the kind of things that we’ve done?" { sends you everything and even possible new verse idea idk i just missed you }
❝For what we’ve done—there’s no redemption left.❞
He kneeled in front of the church pew, a rosaryhanging from a clenched hand. He stared athis wife from his peripheral—knowing if heeven dared to look he’d be disappointed in himself for harboring his guilt onto her.❝You’re regretting everything, aren’t you ?❞

( Scandalous to speak of such things in public, but the newly crowned Queen hardly cared. Her hand was tight in his, as they sat and watched the archery competition. Bain had joined along with Thranduil’s son. )
"Right here? My, husband, someone is quite brave this afternoon.”
( Her voice was low, a slight purr as to avoid anyone hearing. )
❝Have I stunned you, my queen ?❞ King--no he would never consider calling himself that--Bard broke his gaze from the archery competition to kiss the back of her hand. Arrows sung in the air as they were released and he cheered their son as he had hit a target, returned his attention to his wife. ❝I could never be more proud of our children.❞
