Age;pretty old apparently

Background;scientist who messed with time travel and now goes around protecting the omniverse and potentially ease dropping on drama because its entertaining

Likes;Tea٫ music٫ Insects٫ books٫ entertaining things٫ drama٫ Breaking the 4th wall but in a very sophisticated way.

Dislikes;Any one he deems a hazard to the omniverse٫ boring people٫ rap music (it is just so- hard to grasp as an ancient being.

He snorted and stepped around his companion deliberately brushing against his gauntlet.

"You spoil yourself and for some reason I allow it. Don't tell me what to do." He quipped back before leaning against his back against the Professor's in a briefly vulnerable instant.

"And don't leave like that again."

Paradox sighs and smiled some. There is something he isn't telling Eon about why he keeps disappearing.. And it is a bit sad..

“I will not.. Not if I have the power to” he said and hummed some

It wasn't a promise, but it was likely the best he was going to get.

"It must have been important for you to be away. Now what could it have been? Another universe with no hero of its own?

You meddle so much it must be hard to remember which Timeline is actually yours. Or do you just follow the trail of destruction?"

Paradox went quiet for a moment before sighing. “Mainly keeping everyone from encountering.. Anomalies..”

Laying back he swirled a finger in the air, tracing patterned in the stardust making chaos of the silence.

"Well I suppose after eternity you would take whatever you could get. I am just as much of a fool for indulging you."

“Believe what you want٫ I suppose.. Though EVENTUALLY you will recognize my care and devotion for what I intend it to be... When the time comes when you understand one does care.. Do not cry.. Or do.. But either way I will be here٫ waiting to hold you”

"You are an even bigger fool than I had assumed. It would take literal eons for me to even consider crying much less in your stolid embrace."

He stood suddenly beginning to pace back and forth with a growl.

"but of course you would take that into account. You're biding time for your foolishness."

Eon whirled and crawled back onto the bed trapping Paradox against the white sheets.

"I have no more tears to cry, much less for you Timewalker."

“Not for a while.. You do not cry when you are running off of fear٫ anxiety or ones own lies..“ he said and looked up at Eon “Either way I will be here.. waiting.”

"So you say"he snipped back, a hand laid up on the other's chest

"So foolishly sentimental. It will be your end."

Eon drew away then, his footsteps light but steady on the floor.

"And that is what I am waiting for."

He just smiled lightly “You can wait all you'd like. As long as you crave me you will miss me.. Even under all of that angst and pain..” he winked playfully

He seemed to think for a moment٫ humming “But you are beautiful. And I am patient.. We both will cause our own down falls..”

"Don't patronize me. Or you will regret it." His tone was sharp and angry, his mood having dipped back into unstable.

He stared at his hands before pacing again and shoving on clothing.

"At any rate I will take my leave of you. This timeline has become stagnant and dull. I will ask another to amuse me."

Of course it would only go so far just as to stepping back in time to Los Soledad to watch a certain experiment blossom into fruition. A favored spot visited to clear his mind.

Paradox seemed to rest in his own place and huffed٫ arms crossed as he seemed to get lost in thought..

He got up and paced his room like a rouge animal.. “To quiet.. It is to quiet.. I need something to listen to..” He paced and tried to find something٫ anything to sooth his mind.. His own stress having been masked just long enough to hide from Eon..

“My dear you do not understand how much I hate being alone.. I would rather bleed.. I would not want to bother anyone..” He spoke to himself and paced٫ his shaking voice bringing him a small bit of relief for a moment..

He froze suddenly and met his own eyes in a reflection. “Right.. Why would I ever seem panicked..” He took a deep breath and tried to push the lingering anxieties and dread back. “What is wrong with me..?” He asked the mirror٫ why was he so upset by being alone- why was he so bothered in general.. He had been fine just a few moments ago..?

He could change it if he wanted.

It would have been easy, a wave of the hand or some such and he could strip the Walker from this reality. It didn't really matter which reality did it?

He would be gone and his meddling with him.

Eon turned to watch and a gumball echoed noisily on the floor.

The strands of twisting light and energy made it look like a kaleidoscope. He turned away and moved off. He'd been staring too long.

Days maybe years, it was all in a blink of an eye.

He stepped back into the instant he'd left. No real reason, except he couldn't be bothered to go looking for Paradox.

The fool was staring at his reflection and there was something off about it.

"Finally lost it? I wouldn't blame you, but there seems to be much more than that troubling you."

He almost jumped٫ but he just laughed restlessly “Perhaps neither of us are as alright as we act..” he said and did his best to dust off the unease from the silence. Maybe the silence made him anxious because he has to think of his own feelings and comfort when he is alone..

"I've never pretended to be anything I'm not." He stepped closer examining the old fool in the glass. He looked old, older than he could be. Eon scowled at him and pulled him away from the mirror.

"Maybe you should stop pretending to be the stalwart champion they think you are. You never stopped being human."

Paradox glanced to Eon and smiled a bit. “Thank you.” he said and sighed “For being the sane one.” he added٫ brushing off his coat some as if it was dirty. “Perhaps my humanity lies in the reasons I still fight.. And I mustn't forget what- who that is.“ he added and turned to fully face Eon. “Though there is one part of that you are wrong about..” He smirked٫ something in his mind finally resting.

“I Am a champion.“ he said that and his obnoxious sense of pride was all back where it belonged. “And you.. Are where my prize lays” He said with a prideful tone٫ winking.

He laughed at that; the words, the gratitude. It wasn't as if he'd spent so much time thwarting the Time Walker. He knew this man for longer than centuries and for mere days.

Time was a funny thing after all.

He stepped closer and I'm caught the man by the lapels.

"I am no man's prize. And you'd do well to remember that."

He just laughed some and seemed to he in a lighter mood
