I was one of the participants who reached out to over 123 people (Adolescent Girls, Women, Boys, and Men). To recognize our social impact made during the 16 Days of Activism under the United Activism Campaign Project, a Certificate of Participation was issued to all the Participants. HAAF WG3: UNITY FOR SOCIETAL DEVELOPMENT Hope and Awareness Foundation USAID/Nigeria USAID Northeast Connection Peace Ambassadors Centre for Humanitarian Aid and Empowerment - PACHE conducted capacity building for Women and Youths to Counter Violent Extremism in Borno State. Based on the sustainability of the capstone the participants were grouped into three to contribute to Countering Violence Extremism. The group 3 campaign for unity to foster societal development. We the participants of the training had designed campaigns on unity for societal development and we decide to use our voice and call for the general public to understand how we can counter violent extremism in our communities. VOLUNTEER FOR THE GOALS (V4G): YOUTH PROMOTING RECONCILIATION, REINTEGRATION AND SEXUAL REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH RIGHTS IN COMMUNITIES @unvolunteers in partnership with @undp, @unfpa and The Federal Government have organized a 2-day workshop where Peacebuilding; Reconciliation, Reintegration, Mass Exits, Gender Based Violence and Sexual Reproductive Health through inclusive volunteerism was extensively discussed at the Elkanemi Hall, University of Maiduguri. During the workshop, participants were inspired, mentored and supported by a lot of Facilitators, were Hon. @taneem_mbaya had the opportunity to share his personal experiences regarding capacity building and how volunteerism immensely contributed (and still does) to his career and personal growth. At the end participants appreciate the power and benefits of volunteerism and how we can individually and collectively be of great value in making the world a better place, by committing to the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals. I sincerely appreciate the Leadership of Hon. Project Title: Capacity Building for Women and Youth to Counter Violent Extremism Infiltration and Conflict in Borno State. Hope And Awareness Foundation Capstone Project Funded by USAID/NIGERIA with Implementing partners NEC and anchored organization PACHE. Hope And Awareness Foundation is among the eight cohort organizations opportune to be part of the organizational capacity development and mentoring program funded by USAID Northeast Connection and supported to implement activities in Borno State Nigeria. Hope And Awareness Foundation conducted a town hall meeting with Women and Youths on the theme: Capacity Building for Women and Youth to Counter Violent Extremism Infiltration and Conflict in Borno State. Women and Youths were present to contribute to finding a solution that may curb the rationalization of vulnerable people.
