Last friday I woke up with pretty severe pain in my left kidney area. I knew right away it was a kidney stone. I've passed them before so, sadly, it was all too familiar. So I started chugging water...and waiting. In the past I've always passed them on my own, without going to a hospital. Usually it takes about 4 to 12 hours. It has now been six days.

I went to the ER yesterday, not because the pain was too terrible, but because WHAT THE FUCK??? I had a CT scan which showed I do have a kidney stone and it's still in the kidney. That means they can't use soundwaves to break it up. They have to wait until it has dislodged and entered my god damn ureter. This also means I haven't even had the worst of the pain yet.

So I'm back home waiting. It's like someone told me, "hey someone's going to stab you soon." and now I just have to wait for it to happen. This fucking blows.

On the bright side, I've lost almost ten pounds since last Friday.

Fuck me.

God dammit, I've committed to 8 weeks of shows, every Saturday night. I'm already a nervous wreck. I predict a stroke before the run is up, and it will be a result of this show.

Over the weekend I called 911 because I was having such a horrible panic attack. They didn't send anyone because I said, "you know what? never mind, it's probably just a panic attack. Also, I'm fucking ready to die, lady!"

You hear that? I'm fucking ready!

Hey, sorry for the lapse in posts about our mental and physical health, I'm sure you've all been on pins and needles. I've been crazy busy, and so has Adam.

I've been out most nights doing shows, trying to build up an hour long set and also just getting ready to do the two shows I did tonight in Studio City. It was a fun night of standup and music and two shows just drained me. I feel like I'm going to wake up tomorrow and my bones will have disintegrated in my sleep and I'll just be a puddle of myself (not much different than I usually am I guess).

Well, it's almost 3 a.m., time to go hit refresh on Twitter until I fall asleep. Good night. Adam, I hope you're still alive.

Tonight is garbage. I'm dizzy. I've been fighting through it and doing random shit around the apartment to keep busy and focused. It's not working very well.

I also spent about an hour googling everything I could about vertigo. I'm seeing a lot of stuff on magnesium deficiency. Maybe I'll try some magnesium.

Adam? Magnesium?

These women, my Grandma Sarah (98) and her sister, my Auntie Jen (100), both feel better than Steve and me.

I think I'm losing my mind. This is not an April Fool's joke. Also, is it "Fools" or is it "Fool's?" I wasn't paying attention in English class and I'm pretty embarrassed.
