Felicity had a three list.
Oliver’s heart had sunk when she had told him but he had clenched his jaw. She had Iris had discussed it when they had been in CC and Oliver had been on Iris’ three list.
He had very carefully asked her who was on hers.
She had grinned at him, straddling his lap, and muttered against his mouth, “Oliver Queen, The Arrow and Al Sah-Him. Any of them can take me any which way.”

Our bittersweet reunion
Her eyes closed, leaning into his touch. He’s real, this is real. She was finally home. Too good to be true, it had gotten to a point where it felt like her prison would last forever. Each moment she was trapped in her never ending slumber felt more agonizing than the last. Eventually reality would sink in, and what her being awake meant. For now, she’d let herself feel relief, no matter how wrong that was.
Welcome home. He whispered to her, two simple words was more than enough to have her on the verge of tears. Home. Releasing a shaky breath, she stepped forward. Her hands grasped at his shoulder, pulling him to her. So that her arms could wrap around him, making sure there was no space between them. It felt like forever since she had any sort of contact with. Sometimes she had caught herself imagining what it’d be like, seeing everyone again. It was this reunion though, this was the one she played over and over again. Waking up again, she’d be free to be with those she loves. But it was only when she found Damon and was in his arms again that she’d truly be home.
“I missed you.” Elena whispered into his shoulder, holding him close, breathing him in. Clinging to him like her very life depended on it, and in some ways that was true. A part of her worried that the instant she let go, he would be gone. What if he had found a way to come and see her? No, he wouldn’t lie to her, if this wasn’t real he’d tell her, right? Either way, she took in as much of him as she could. He scent, the way her arms felt around him, the way it felt to be in his arms. Things she already knew by heart, all very welcomed things. “I missed you so much…”
Years had gone by and yet they still responded to the other as if they had never left. Watching as she relished in his simple touch, leaning in more causing him to now take the pad of his thumb and lightly caress her cheek. This is what he had been waiting for, and this is why even with the tremendous amount of pain he carried never went through with ending his own life. The temptation had been there, oh how it had been there, and at times he had almost succeeded, but something or rather someone had always drawn him back to the light, and it was this angel standing before him.
Welcome home
Wrapped in each other’s arms they had finally made their way back home. Their bodies fitting perfectly together as they held onto the other for dear life, because even Damon knew they were both afraid to let go, and they had every right to be. This was real though he knew it, because even in his dreams never had he felt this complete, but now as he held her, now as she molded into his chest he finally was feeling whole. All he wanted to do was comfort and reassure her that he wasn’t leaving her, and if that meant them holding each other for hours on end, than he was complete fine with that.
I missed you
It was just below a whisper, but thanks to vampire hearing he had caught the statement causing him to drop a kiss to her temple “god I missed you” swallowing hard, resting his head atop hers. Inhaling, breathing her in as he allows her scent to surround him and instantly soothe him. Hearing Elena state how much she missed him again causing him to draw his head back, hands now moving so that he can frame her face “I missed you too baby, and I feel like saying that isn’t enough….that there has to be another word that can come close to explaining how much I’ve missed you.” Both the pads of his thumbs running along her delicate cheek and then resting his forehead against hers “this isn’t a dream Lena, it’s real, and we’re real.”
will i be this way when i’m dead, will i go home and go to bed, will i wake up and wonder, did something happen here?

Attention, Damon Salvatore here, yes Damon Salvatore the eternal stud who you people all seem to swoon over, can’t say that I blame you though. Lots of people have been asking how I’m doing, and the fact of the matter is I’m numb, because the love of my life, yes I stress it the LOVE of my LIFE has pulled a sleeping beauty and is in deep slumber. Unfortunately true love’s kiss is too simple, but even though my Princess is deep in slumber doesn’t mean my love for her perishes. Bonnie and I are friends, and we both love Elena. Though I do always enjoy winning polls I want to lose out on this one, so I’m asking you to turn your attention over to this couple, re-blog my post or this post, and help get them in first…..
