His smile is big and dumb, and he carefully pats the sparkling's little helm. "If you're really good, I'll let you pick out three things," he promised, surprisingly quiet. 

"And as many snacks as you want too." He started towards the city, mindlessly babbling, "But we also need to get you energon too, huh? And other stuff -- do you know what younglings need to survive?"
