APC design for "Automated Valour"

The APC has the ability to split in two, allowing the front crew compartment to escape while the rear with the heavy weapons stays to fight. In the first frame, the APC is hiding, deploying verious drones as a perimeter. When the situation seems dire, the decision is made to escape. I envisaged the APC splitting might be like a gekko that loses its tale in order to escape, the tail acting as a colourful decoy for predators to focus on. It and the drones remain to fight while the crew bugs out.
