Reblog if you're black tumblr.
You don’t have to be black, it just means you support us, you stand by us and you’re for us.
The kids, on filming IT: We all became best friends and it was the most amazing summer of our lives and we never wanted it to end
Bill Skarsgard, on filming IT: It was fuckin lonely as hell I sat in a tent by myself the whole time and all the crew members were scared of me
TFW you just want to have fun and mingle but you get banished to the Pennywise tent for being Pennywise.
This is the plot to Wreck it Ralph
why don’t you plant some lavender and when it blooms you can squeeze a leaf or two between your fingers and the smell will calm you down. how about you do that. bitch

have gay sex
i learned about Marion Stokes, a Philadelphia woman who began taping whatever was on television in 1979 and didn’t stop until her death in 2012.. The 71,000 VHS and Betamax tapes she made are the most complete collection preserving this era of TV. They are being digitized by the Internet Archive. (x)
i feel like this is selling her a bit short tbh. It’s not like she was a random woman who decided to tape ‘whatever’ was on television. She was a civil rights activist and archivist, who was extremely concerned about preserving history. She believed that, by taping television, she would be preserving history EXACTLY as it was perceived at the time; she didn’t want the detail in the news to disappear with time. And she was RIGHT.
Like I said, she didn’t just tape ‘whatever’ was on television. It was extremely targeted towards news stations. There were 8 VCRs running at all times in her home. Her life—-and her family’s lives—-were centered around 6 hour blocks, since that was the amount of time that a tape would record for. Her collections were also extremely organized.
im not a people pleaser anymore im a huge cunt now

last night my brother asked me if I ever get two completely unrelated songs stuck in my head together and then several hours later sends me this
Gaslighting is such an interesting subject because long-term effects can have victims constantly questioning their own feelings and can cause delayed responses to any future emotional events. Victims often tend to crowdsource opinions on things that happened to them to validate their own feelings because they've been taught that their first response is not the right one. Strict religious upbringing is a form of gaslighting from an early age to teach children that their own feelings and reactions to things are not, in fact, normal human functions, and must be replaced with their parents' particular ideologies. (I.e., turn the other cheek when wronged, honor thy father and mother regardless of their abusive tendencies, etc.)
In this essay, i will
i love it when italians argue about italian. like we don’t even know how our language really works we just roll with it
Italian is 107 different provincial languages stuck together with spit and half a prayer
My bf lives in another region and we are constantly arguing about regional variations of words and we both live in the fucking north of Italy
one time i saw a map of italy but instead of cities and roads etc it was just covered w different ways you can say the word vagina. it was covered
oh I can think of at least seven ways to say the word vagina right off the top of my head rn. I can’t imagine what I could do if I tried harder

this is the Italian Vagina Map, reblog to… I’m not sure actually. Can’t hurt though.
hi what the actual FUCK does THIS ONE MEAN
Bautista said “say it with your chest”
For those who may not know, Dave Bautista is the (former) WWE wrestler Batista
He also plays this gay-ass autistic alien:
He also posted this delightful tweet in response to some homophobic Catholic bullshit:
And he’s been very openly anti-Trump:

Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
This dude took one look at homophobia, bigotry, and toxic masculinity and said ‘fuck that’ and then crushed them all with his enormous biceps and I think that was very excellent of him.
He looks like he gives great hugs
being born in the late 90′s is a really weird time because our coming of age is/was so tied into the expansion of personal technology? like for so many of us the transition from getting your first flip phone to smartphones wasn’t just a technology shift, it was part of growing up. and it created this really weird timeline where new technologies were being created right as we entered the right age market to use them, so now we all know intuitively how to use snapchat or the social context of emoji use or whatever but we can also remember childhoods spent (almost) entirely outside and offline. like you get all the disillusionment of the older millennial generation except now with the stress of spending your adolescence measuring yourself against others on social media and it’s really fucking confusing
you put it into words
