My original goal was to only take images of my new @tender.and.dangerous gloves purchased from my friends at @oddsconcept . (P.S. I’d love to collaborate with both of you A.K.A send me something free!😅)
While determining what significance these images would bring, I followed the inspiration used in my new gloves paying homage to Berlin Germany. Commemorating millions of Germans that’s were affected by the Berlin Wall - a symbol of ideological division and suppression of human rights. Being a black man in America with limited freedoms, I face a disadvantage in our fight for change. Relentlessly, this past few weeks I promoted and forced the importance of my counterparts and I being registered to vote; and in turn voting. While many people feel that in America our archaic systems of oppression will not change, I find joy in seeing others take small steps to break barriers that shall be overcome. In America class is determined by your wealth. Mental health is neglected and the less fortunate lacks resources for growth. The income gap explains my use of urban fashion items in addition to established fashion brands such as @chanelofficial and @gucci .
From me to you, this is a gift I created to show my appreciation to everyone willing to put race, class, gender, sexual orientation, or any other inconsequential ideas aside. We are better together. As Berlin did on November 9th, 1989 America must work to break the barriers we’ve faced for centuries by going out to vote on November 3rd, 2020.
