Clark was flipping through the channels before landing on some movie. He remembered the title but not exactly the plot. “I only have two refrigerators in my house and she’s already filled up one of them. Please take some when you leave.” He understood where Barbara was coming from and knew how it was more of the materialistic side of their parents in how they showed their love most of the time. Very rarely wasn’t it something other than food, gifts, or anything else that came to mind. “I would use that term loosely if I was you. We both know Arabelle will always be the favorite even if they weren’t happy about Noah at first. Speaking of which, have you seen her recently? She was out on bed rest since spraining her ankle, but that was a good couple of weeks ago.” The mention of Noah had brought back the new conversation he was having his with parents. It wasn’t necessarily new, more put on the back burner that was now their main goal to accomplish. “You don’t think mom would be crazy enough to put me up on a dating site, right?”
“You know I will! I haven’t been able to go shopping his week, so taking free food from you will be the easiest job yet.” Elle grinned over at her brother before cuddling up to her furry nieces. When his questions about their older sister were brought up, a cocked eyebrow and concerned look hit the model’s face. “No, I haven’t since i’ve been back. The last time I saw her was when I first moved into my new place. At that point, she was still looking at me like I was five and I couldn’t handle it anymore.” She still can’t handle it, to be honest. She’d understand when Clark would do it to her, but nobody else. After a few moments, it was quiet. The sound of the movie playing filled the room and it was soothing. Starting to relax more, the model shot out of her seat after hearing Clark’s next question. “Are you seriously asking that, Clark? Of course she’s crazy enough to do it! At this point, your profile has probably been up for weeks and the poor, desperate woman online are getting upset that you’re not answering their IM’s.” Shooting out of the seat, the drug dealer kissed her furry nieces on the head before looking crazy around Clark’s living room. “Where the fuck is your laptop?!”
