Okay so, we all know what happened with VocaTone and the whole Maghni AI situation. But now that Crescendia 100% owns Oliver now iirc, I still have a little hope. I really want Oliver to meet the light of day and get an update, but no matter what, I do not support VocaTone and their actions. Let’s hope for the best to happen soon

I think it’s important if I say this here too, copied from my bsky—

If anyone is curious on my opinions on recent controversies, I definitely am no longer interested in any future VocaTone developments even with management change. I’m not going to follow it

I will still be doing personal fanworks and headcanon stuff of some of their characters (Oliver and Hio in particular) but that’s personal creative work stuff and not “I like and support this company” stuff

And also that Oliver and Hio are PowerFX projects too and not solely VocaTone works

(Honestly I was able to appreciate their VocaTone side but I cared more about Oliver and Hio’s connection to PowerFX than I did about their connection to VocaTone and I think that might’ve been evident by the way I talked about them and tagged my work 😭)

And so I’ve been tired of the behavior of everyone involved in VocaTone for a long, long time 🫠 I don’t quite trust them to improve their conduct

As like one of Oliver’s biggest fans, I am honestly so dissapointed by VocaTone. I was really looking forward to Maghni AI as someone who wants to become a vocaloid producer. I will still like Oliver & Hio, but not the company. I am ashamed of them.
