I don’t know. You don’t have to have intelligence, to step on someone. I guess we don’t have anything to worry about then, what with the Sector constantly having wall soldiers walking both sides of the wall. Unless one got in, but then even one wouldn’t last long with all our trigger happy inhabitants

Anyway, you're right, nearly everyone here seems pretty trigger happy. Which is why I believe that we should be more cautious about the people in here rather than the undead out there. Because the zo-undead do the only thing they can do with what's left of them. But humans, living and breathing humans, they can still surprise you.

I suppose that’s true. I guess those nut cases weren’t actually nut cases. They are probably the smarter people around the world right now. So much for people constantly worrying about being book smart, getting high grades, high GPAs. None of that matters.

Ah, okay. I can’t say that I understand that exactly but I understand it to some extent. I’m not very proud of the fact that I lost track of my family. That they could still be out there now, afraid. And it’s my fault, really. No, I’m not proud of it. And it definitely hurts knowing that I could have somehow saved them if I hadn’t been such an idiot.

I don't know. I don't believe that most of them are still alive. Sure, they always talked about something like this happening, but I think that when the outbreak actually happened, they were overrun either. It's one thing to imagine a reality, but when that reality becomes truth, people still freak out.

Yes, but there is still the possibility that your family could be alive. Maybe they are same in a small town, which gets protected like this sector. You still have a chance, you still can have hope.

My family won't ever come back to me. They are dead and... it's my fault.

Well maybe, you know they never stop. What if they did all walk up to the wall and they start pushing each other, one mother fucker falls, the rest walk on top of that asshole. Next thing you know it continues to happen an endless cycle! Till they’re falling over the wall… Anyways yeah, I have a bad feeling about them

They aren't that intelligent. I doubt something like that would ever happen here. What I can imagine though is if there is a group of undead and they are pushing at one of the walls  that the wall would get weaker over time. If nothing stops the undead in the meantime.

Alpha Mission | | At the Scene || Open

Nicholas sat in the backseat and stared out of the window during their ride. He had barely said a word that morning; lack of sleep and a foul feeling deep inside his body were the reasons. This whole mission seemed like a suicide call. His group members' voices were a distant chatter to him. Shortly after they departed he had lost track of their conversations. Green trees and a wide range of forgotten fields greeted him from behind the glass and he could have sworn that he saw a deer standing aside the road. Nicholas took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He could hear his own heartbeat pounding in his head like the steady rhythm of a drum. Unconsciously he moved his hand to the Glock which was securely placed in its holster on his hip.

The car came to a hold and forced Nicholas to open his eyes again. He watched how the other members of the Alpha group left the vehicle before he did the same. Pottsville was a small town and it looked as if it had seen better days. Nicholas tried to imagine how it could have been before the outbreak – he preferred cities. In his experience, people who lived in small towns generally liked to stay among themselves. Every new face was an outsider, a black sheep in their flock. They had their own rules and sometimes even their own justice system. Trying to solve a case in a town like this had always been very difficult because everyone involved wasn't quite cooperating. Memories of long gone cases in similar towns filled his mind and the uneasy feeling that had traveled with him from the start of the mission grew more and more. His left hand trailed along the outlines of the hunting knife that he had secured underneath his jacket and he hoped instantly that it wouldn't have to become of use.

Small towns thrive because of their residents. But Pottsville seemed abandoned and that made it so much more dangerous. Why were they here again? Because strange noises had been heard. A town that seemed abandoned but still produced strange noises wasn't exactly the place where he wanted to be. It could be either a trap or the houses were filled with the undead; probably both. They'll open the wrong door and all hell breaks lose. Nicholas turned around and faced his team members. “We'll secure this area first before we'll go further into the town,” Alana told them, “Try not to go off alone. We don't know what we're dealing with yet.” Checking up on his Glock again, Nicholas walked over to the person who stood closest to him. As Alana said, it would be foolish to go off alone.

It's a very difficult one at times. But when you can help at least one person, when you're able to reunite a family... It's worth it. Well, it was worth it.

I'm really sorry about this but I won't be able to come online in the next two days. I have to finish up some applications so that I don't lose the family money which is helping me to pay the rent and on monday I will be out with my mother and visit a few institutions regarding the financial support of my school. Otherwise I won't be able to begin it in October.

I will try to be more active in the days after that though.

I was so busy with all of my work that I barely got out of the basement of the research center, though I did find a good old Scotch.

Yeah, but no one ever expected a zombie apocalypse in the first place so... We all weren't prepared. Except a few nut cases who screamed about this happening since they first heard about zombies.

Thank you, I appreciate that. But it's something I'm not very proud of and I... I actually try to forget about it... I don't really like to talk about it at all. It's difficult  ....and something I have to deal with myself.

Ah, I can see why the undead aren’t so bad to you. I was just a teacher so the undead are pretty bad compared to what I was used to. I mean, I’m aware there are worse things out there but in my reality? Nothing has been worse than this.

I’ve always questioned the same thing… but, I hope you don’t mind me asking but… what happened? I may be able to relate.

Understandable. I guess in a way I'm glad that this was my job before. Because somehow it makes things easier to handle. It's hard to explain.

I... I had a home, a family. It was my safe haven from all the horrible things I saw. Sometimes you believe that you're ready for something but then it turns out to be way more different than what you had expected. I tried but I just couldn't.... forget. So in a way I began to take my work home with me and it got difficult to handle so I began to drink ...and then everything just got worse.

So you wanted to become a well known fashion designer? Let models wear your clothes on a runway and stuff? I actually have no idea about all of this. I studied criminology back then.
