His words made her laugh “Yeah I usually don’t make the first move..” Kendall nervously said. Her eyes staying fixed on him. As he bit his bottom lip she got nervous. He was so attractive and the way she felt right now, she didn’t know what he was okay with and what he wasn’t okay with. After the kiss, she felt relieved that he didn’t freak out and tell her to leave. Confused by his apology she want taken off guard as he kissed her. His hand on the back of her neck, pulling her closer. Kendall placed both one of her hands on the piano keys to keep her balance, the noise ringing through her ears. His lips on hers felt amazing, and she couldn’t help but kiss him back. Her other hand placed on his shoulder she smiled against his lips. Giving him small kisses and then returning his passionate one.
A kiss like this was usually something that was shared at the end of a date, not in the middle of one but he couldn’t help it, it was all he’d been thinking about since she was at his front door. After keeping their kiss going for a few moments he finally broke it, only because he needed to breathe. He pulled back and the small smile once again creeped back across his lips. “Okay... that was a lot better than I could have ever expected it to be.” He spoke out but kept his gaze on her. Now, he completely refused to look away from her. If there was any line drawn at the start of this date, there was no doubt that it’d been crossed and he didn’t want to go back, he only wanted to move forward.

“Well I’d be willing to learn if you’d like to teach me” Kendall said her eyes scanning the piano, from one end of the keys to another. Walking the runway wasn’t just her job, it was her favorite thing to do and place to be. It was her happy place. Being in lingerie took a lot to get used to, but now it was like second nature to her. She assumed it was the same for Pierre with his music, the way he played and sang he had so much passion. That passion is what motivates people and Kendall liked his motivation. As he turned his body, she turned hers as well. The bench being wide enough to cross her legs as she faced him. His body language was confusing and she wasn’t sure what to do. Her heart and mind were battling and she didn’t know which one to listen to. Going with her instinct, besides being completely nervous. She placed a hand on Pierre’s hand and looked him in the eyes before smiling. Taking a deep breath, Kendall leaned in slowly and kissed him softly. After a few seconds she pulled away, the blush returning on her cheeks “I uhhh…. I wanted to do that since the moment I saw you…” she bit her bottom lip gently.
“I’d be happy to teach you.” He smiled softly. Pierre loved turning people on to music, but getting the chance to teach someone like Kendall was something that made him happy, it was a way that the two of them could connect and he wanted to connect with her in any way he could. The silence that filled the room wasn’t as welcomed as it should have been, in fact it only made him more nervous and that feeling hit the ceiling when she turned her body to face him. Truthfully, he wanted to reach out and touch her, it was all he could think about, but he didn’t know where the boundaries were just yet and he didn’t want to overstep them. He smiled when Kendall placed her hand on his but soon he was being distracted by the sudden kiss. When she pulled away, he blinked and gently bit his bottom lip. “I uhh.. Um.. I uhh.. Never had the girl make the first move.” He chuckled softly as he kept his gaze on her. “So.. I’m going to apologize in advance for this..” Lifting his free hand, he place it on the back of her neck and pulled her closer for another kiss. This time, he took it upon himself to add a bit more passion to it.

I get almost an unlimited amount of candy in my house every year. I don’t even buy my own. I just get to eat the stuff that my kids don’t want and sneak extras from them every once in a while. It’s nice to meet you Bradley, I’m Pierre. My kids love you by the way. They have a lot of Rocket Racoon stuffed animals around the house.

Kendall watched him in front of the piano. He seemed so comfortable there, like it was his happy place. He started playing and then he started singing, it was so beautiful. Her eyes widened at the sound of his voice. If she wasn’t nervous before, she definitely was now. His comment made her laugh and she shook her head “Yeah, it’s a piece of cake for you!” She licked her lips looking into his eyes for a quick second then letting her eyes fix on something else. “That’d be like me handing you lingerie and saying oh it’s just walking a runway in front of a thousand people, piece of cake” Kendall smiled and looked away for a second, clearing her throat she looked back up at him catching his eyes again “I’m sorry for… you know what happened in the kitchen, I should’ve asked before doing something like that… I just….” she trailed off running her fingers through her hair.
Pierre couldn’t help but laugh at the comment about the lingerie. She was right, that would probably be as difficult to him as this was to her. They both had a different skill set and his certainly didn’t include getting half naked and walking a runway. “Okay, well maybe not a piece of cake. But, if you get the hang of it, it’s not that hard.” He spoke the words as he looked at her. He couldn’t help but chuckle at the fact that she kept looking away from him every time their eyes met. He shook his head when she offered her apology. “Don’t apologize for that.. I didn’t mind it at all.” He said as he shifted just a bit to face her more. “You don’t have to ask before you do anything like that.”

Why she walked off, she couldn’t decide if it was because she was nervous or because she was scared that she had made the wrong move. The look on his face made Kendall extremely nervous. Had she just done something that he didn’t want? Did she just completely fuck this up? She had no idea what was going through his mind. Walking back into the room she looked down at the floor during the silence, not knowing what to say or do. His comment threw her off guard a little bit, but allowed a small smile to form on her face. Taking his hand gently she followed him into the living room, which was now familiar to her. “No, I don’t…” Kendall said quietly sitting down on the bench, next to Pierre. She watched him, moving her head to trace his features with her eyes. Placing her hands in her lap she looked down at the keys and let her mind wander. Feeling even more nervous all she could do was hope that she didn’t mess something up that could possibly turn into something great. It was dark outside, and the lights in the living room were dim, only adding more butterflies.
Music was his go to, especially when he was a nervous as he was. He couldn’t get the feeling in the pit of his stomach to go away. Was it attraction, or just pure lust? He wasn’t too sure and only time would be able to answer that for him. Once the two of them were sitting on the bench in front of the piano. He looked at her with a smile. “Relax a bit.” He nudged her with his shoulder. He could tell that she was just as nervous as he was and honestly it was a relief to know that he wasn’t alone. Lifting his hands he placed them over the keys. “It’s really not that hard once you figure out the basics.” He spoke as he began to play a soft tone, one that was familiar to him. “Let’s get this out of the way, why should we wait forever, we’re meant to be together, I’m not ashamed to say, you don’t remember my name, but I still want you the same.” He sang softly, swaying a bit in his spot only to drop his hands shorty after. “See, piece of cake.” He spoke with a chuckle.

With the way he pet looking at her, she knew tonight was going well. They clicked, and it was just their first date. Kendall felt really happy about how everything was going. But if he kept staring at her, there would be a change of events really fast. “I have always wanted to either move out of LA or find a place hidden with a big yard and be able to have farm and raise my children there, away from everything” she smiled gently at him. After a couple more bites she finished her meal. Hearing his poison comment made her laugh “I would succeed, but I like you …” she said smiling. As he got up her eyes followed him intently. Okay Kendall, what’s your next move? Taking a deep breath she got up, plate in her hand and followed him into the kitchen. His back turned towards her she licked her lips and walked up behind him reaching over and placing the dish in the sink. She placed her hand on his back “It was delicious, thank you” Kendall spoke quietly and leaned over giving him a kiss on his cheek. Feeling her stomach get into knots again, she turned around and went back to get her water bottle from the table taking a sip of it. Seriously…. that was your next move? Rolling her eyes at herself she turned around to go back into the room where Pierre was.
Fuck. the moment he felt her hand on his back, a shiver ran through his entire body. He’d been doing a pretty good job on keeping his nerves at bay, to not make himself look like an idiot or turn this into something it wasn’t. He wasn’t sure what this was between them, but he wasn’t about to deny the attraction that was there. He smiled softly when she kissed his cheek. He wasn’t expect that from her. Honestly, he wasn’t expecting much of any physical contact except for the hug at that start of the night. “You’re welcome.” When she walked off, he lifted his hand and placed it on his cheek for only a moment, dropping it quickly when she returned to him. By this point he was wrestling with his thoughts and inter emotions. Pierre turned to face her. Looking at her in a moment of silence. “Do you play the piano?” He questioned as he reached out and took her hand walking into the living room. This was the only thing he could think of, a way to avoid what he was really thinking.

Kendall laughed as he stuck his tongue out at her “Sassy aren’t you?” she giggled biting on her bottom lip gently then looking away from him. Talking about her tan, she ran her fingers across her exposed skin noticing his eyes on her. She could feel his stare, it made her nervous but it also felt good to have his attention. Kendall was still shocked that he even liked her or at the very least found her attractive. Lucky was a good word for how she felt at the moment. Pierre had gone out of his way to check in on her, after not seeing her for a while and then make her dinner. It felt unreal, but she definitely felt special. “I can tell! That’s how I want to raise my kids one day, in a house full of animals…. I actually would like to have a farm someday” she confessed taking another bite of her burger. “It’s really good… like really good” Kendall smiled taking a drink of her water again. “Next time, you’re going to have to come over so I can make dinner for you…” she winked at him before giving her attention to her food. She hadn’t eaten much all day due to being nervous, and also her flight so her burger was disappearing really quick.
Sassy, That was something that Pierre hadn’t been called before. He never thought of himself as the sassy type but maybe he was and this was the confirmation on that. “Maybe I am a little bit.” He grinned. He needed to stop staring, if he didn’t, this night could probably take a turn really quickly. For the good or bad he wasn’t sure but his nerves were telling him to do the impossible. “I think we’re on the verge of a farm here, gonna have to move out of LA if the animal population keeps growing.” He laughed and shook his head. He probably had more animals than he should of had but most of that was due to the fact that he couldn’t really say no to his kids. “I’d certainly love for you to make me dinner.” he smiled. Being in a band, Pierre developed a habit of eating very quickly. Nine times out of ten, he only had a few minutes to scarf down a full meal before he was being called to do something and it was a habit that he had a difficult time breaking. “Just don’t try to poison me” He joked. Once he was done, he grabbed a napkin from the table to wipe both his hands and his mouth off. Standing up, he grabbed his plate and walked it over to the sink, placing it down, he ran water over it.

As she took sips from her water bottle, she felt Pierre’s eyes on her but didn’t dare to look up, knowing she would just start blushing again. Kendall raised her eyebrow “You have chickens AND a dog?” she smiled placing her bottle back on the table. “I’m never leaving…” she giggled pulling her chair closer to the table. “Thank you. And you’re not an old man, shut up” rolling her eyes she shook her head at him. “It’s great that your band is so successful, I mean obviously, you’re so talented” Kendall spoke looking across the table as he sat down. This was nice. Usually she would go out to restaurants and struggle to hear what the other was saying across a barely lit table in a public place full of curious eyes. This was intimate and she couldn’t remember the last time someone actually took the time out to cook her dinner. “Florida was awesome! I got I think a tan, I’m not sure if I’m just seeing things” she giggled looking down at her arms making a pouty face. “But it was nice to see Brendon and Luke, they’ve been sort of like my rock throughout this whole process…” Kendall nodded looking down at her food. “Thank you for dinner, again. It looks amazing” her eyes flickered up at Pierre. Reaching down she grabbed the burger and brought it up to her face, her eyes widening taking a bite. After swallowing she smiled “You are allowed to cook for me whenever …”
Pierre tried not to stare at her too much but with each passing minute it seemed to get more difficult, all he knew was that he didn’t want to make her feel uncomfortable. “Yes, chickens and a dog. We’re animal lovers in this house.” He spoke with a soft chuckle. When she told him to shut up, a louder laugh passed this lips. Not many people talked to him like that so it was certainly welcome. “I’m older than you.” He stuck his tongue out at her. When she mentioned her tan his heart skipped a beat again, it was as if she was just giving him reasons to stare at her. He moved slightly in his chair to get a better look at he, His eyes scanning over every inch of skin she had visible. “Yeah, you got a tan, it looks pretty great.” He smiled and softly bit his bottom lip, releasing it before he spoke again. “It’s always good to have friends when you need them.” The words passed his lips quickly before he focused on the food in front of him. “You’re very welcome.” He replied as he took a bite from his own burger. It wasn’t often that he got to cook for someone so getting the chance to do that for Kendall actually made him happy. “I’m going to take that as you liking it.”
