He was about to retort to some snappy comment in return, before Jason smacked his head and he let a huff out, glaring in return. “I can’t just not blame myself, I told you why I am doing so, so stop telling me not to. Because it was my fault.” Rubbing at the spot he let a sigh out as he leaned back onto the couch again, shrugging “Well it’s not really overly sunny and we’re inside anyway, so I’d expected you to take them off a while ago. Unless you’ve suddenly developed some weird sunglasses fetish I haven’t heard of before.”
Jason just smacked Roy on the back of his head again. “And I told you to fucking stop blaming yourself. I am fine. Sure I would’ve preferred not getting blown up and captured, but that has always been a possibility with the shit that we do. Our work is dangerous, so learn to deal that things just happen. SO stop blaming yourself or I’m going to keep hitting you.” He huffed and scowled. “Yeah well, I just feel like wearing them okay? It was dark were I was being held and I still haven’t gotten used to all this light yet.” It was a half lie. The place he was stuck at was dark, but he had gotten used to normal light by now.
"Ow- tch, stop it." He groaned, rubbing at the spot he was smacked at again, rolling his eyes. "Of course you're fine, you certainly look fine, coming from the dead, genious." He huffed, punching Jason's arm lightly, more as a gesture than anything else, before slumping back down onto the couch. "Fine, I'll keep quiet okay?" And just rather think about it than tell it out loud. "...yeah, okay, let's say I buy that for now." He shrugged, he knew that wasn't the whole reason for those sunglasses, but if it made the other happy, why the heck not. He simply rolled his eyes again, before sighing. "Either way, want anything to eat or drink?" Although they might have to order it, since the red head's fridge was really emptier than usual.
