Simon’s current heating arrangement consists of a heating pad under his tank and a regular basking light and infrared basking light set to alternate every 12 hours to simulate a day-night cycle. The heat source at night is necessary to keep the temperature in his enclosure high enough, but I worry that the infrared bulb still produces too much light to properly simulate night time. I’ve put some cardboard underneath it on the mesh of his tank lid which dims it significantly but may make his tank slightly cooler at night. Does anyone have any suggestions for alternative bulbs to use as heat source at night that won’t emit a lot of light or decrease the humidity too much?

Get rid of the lamps as they are inefficient, and always show light. We currently have no reasonably priced substitute for actual moonlight which usually sits at less than 1 lux. There is nothing that duplicates that which is affordable. Instead, you’ll want to purchase a ceramic heat emitter which produces heat and not light, will last longer, and reportedly is less dehydrating than a lamp bulb (tbh I find them to be equally as dehydrating as a lamp)

Hot dang, what a morning! Dark Souls: Remastered is officially announced for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, and will release on May 25th of this year!! In addition to enhanced visuals (though we don’t know the full extent of the visual face lift; no actual gameplay or screenshots), the PC, PS4, and XB1 versions of the DS: Remastered will run at 60FPS! Finally DS1 will be playable at 60FPS without the fear of sliding through the floor when going down ladders! Switch version will also run at 1080p when docked, and 720p when in handheld mode (and at 30FPS in both modes). The amount of online players in any given session, across all versions, has also been increased from 4 to 6.

There’s also an outrageously expensive, $500USD Trilogy Box available on PS4. The PS4 is also region free, so if this is something you wanted to import…
