Souji raised an eyebrow at his response. So he actually owned tigers? That was a first. Then again, the Hive had never set anything in front of him that could be considered normal. Still, this kid seemed to be among the many who didnât take he sudden change to his surroundings very well. He could relate, though he never could say heâs taken the âshaking like a leafâ angle before.
âItâs all right. The scientists are bastards, but these tigers of yours will be fine when they decide to give them back to you.â He held out his hand, offering to help the boy to his feet. âThe nameâs Okita Souji. Whatâs yours?â
Did it seem strange?
Heâd always had the tigers with him.. But the look on this manâs face made it seem as though the revelation wasnât too normal. Gokotai shrunk at the realization but as the other spoke, he slowly grew more comfortable with him.. Assured. âTh-Theyâll give them back? My tigers...?â There was relief in his voice and he reached up to take the manâs hand. Though, even after he got up, he didnât let go of the otherâs hand.
â.. Gokotai.. Th-Thank you..â
Okita.. Souji? The name was familiar.
