Gen: So the midwife's here and I'm definitely in active labor. Only dilated three though so you have plenty of time, sweetheart.

Gen: Ohhhhh boy this is really happening.

Jared: Of course, baby. You've got this totally under control. I believe in you.

Jared: I'll be there as fast as we can, I promise.

Gen: The midwife, your mom, and Danneel are on their way over to help me get the birth tub set up. Everything's okay. I need you here in one piece, so be safe, okay?

Jared: I promise I won't judge you at all if you wanna change your birth plan.

Jared: Of course I'm gonna be safe. If our son wants to make an appearance tonight, I wanna be there to meet him.

Gen: Yeah I'm not so sure these are braxton hicks, honey. Literally had to call Danneel to come to me because I can't move.

Jared: Did you call the midwife?? Or an ambulance? I'm leaving now for the airport.

Jared: Does he know it might be his?

Gen: They've been going for like three hours, so probably..

Gen: I promise it'll be okay. You don't have to fly all the way here yet. I've still got two weeks, I'm sure everything is fine.

Gen: It's not fair though. He chilled out and I was finally getting some sleep and then the asshole braxton hicks decided to kick in. My whole body hurts :(

Jared: I'm coming home tonight. I don't want to miss anything, baby.

Jared: Your braxton hicks weren't that bad before though were they?

Gen: I'll see what Danneel thinks and if its something more, I promise I'll call you.

Gen: I wish you were here too. Your baby has been so still and calm since you left. He misses you.

Jared: Is it Braxton Hicks? They should have stopped by now right?

Jared: I'll book a flight, just in case.

Jared: Call the midwife, please.

Jared: I'm happy he's chilled out a bit, he got a little wild there.

Jared: God, can you believe we're gonna be parents? It still doesn't feel real.

Gen: Honestly, Jared? I wish I was surprised you're walking away so quickly. You do whatever you wanna do, that's what you've always done.

Gen: So forget it. You really don't want anything to do with this from here on out, that's fine. I'll do this on my own. It's not like I don't have any practice in raising kids on my own.

Gen: It doesn't matter who it was. The second I realised I was only seeing him because I was angry, I ended it. He never met our kids and he was never in our house. It doesn't matter.

Jared: I never said I'm walking away. But it's late, and I need to give my brain a minute to think.

Jared: I know there's stuff I could have done better, okay? You don't need to call me a shit parent, I get it.

Jared: Can you please just tell me?
