────𝑺𝑷𝑬𝑪𝑰𝑨𝑳 𝑩𝑹𝑶𝑨𝑫𝑪𝑨𝑺𝑻... (﹙˓ #update ˒﹚)
Hey listeners…go ahead and turn the volume down just a touch for this one. This isn’t the kind of announcement we ever *wanted* to make on air—but it’s one we owe you, straight from the DJ booth, no static.
After a lot of thought (and more than a few late-night conversations behind the console), we’ve made the decision to **officially close the roleplay** as an active station. Life’s pulled your DJ’s off-frequency in ways we can’t really ignore right now. We’re both going through some major personal shifts, and we’ve reached a point where we can’t run this space with the care, consistency, and energy it (and you) deserves. And rather than let the signal degrade into something half-kept and out of tune, we think it’s more honest to step back.
What this means for the station— The broadcast as you know it is coming to a close. We won’t be running activity checks anymore, we won’t be hosting or promoting events, and we won’t be opening the doors to new on-air guests moving forward. The scheduled programming is, for now, off the air.
But this isn’t a total shutdown— We’re not pulling the plug completely and we’re not asking anyone to leave. This space will remain open for all of you who want to stay. Think of it less like the station going dark and more like the late-night hours after sign-off…quieter, softer, but still there. If you want to keep writing, keep interacting, or just linger in the space we build together, you *absolutely* can.
Off-Air lines are opening— We’ll also be opening up an OOC chat in the Off Air group for anyone who wants a place to talk, check in, or just exist together outside of structured prompts and programming. No pressure, no expectations, just an open line to stay in touch.
And…yeah. This is the part where the music fades a little.
We want to thank every single one of you who tuned in, stayed a while, and made this place what it was. Every listener, every writer, every person who sent feedback, hyped up others, shared ideas, or simply showed up—you mattered. You matter. The station only ever worked because of you.
Your DJs truly treasure the time we’ve spent here with you. The stories, the chaos, the late-night energy, the way this little frequency turned into something real—it’s something we’re going to carry with us for a long time. We’re sorry we can’t keep the station running at the level you deserve. But for now, we’re easing the faders down. And we’ll revisit the idea of managing a station again, either Ittalks or something new, in a few months. This isn’t goodbye. It’s see you later.
Thank you for listening. Thank you for staying. Thank you for everything.
