reposted from my insta (ibmatter)
some photography from the woods near my house along with some of my anarchist poetry! I love myself a good dog motif and I’m addicted to using god & dog interchangeably..
shot on a lumix GF1 with a shoddy old lens (taylor hobson 1in serital for anyone who cares) and a custom white balance that’s extreme enough to make my old photography teacher pop a blood vessel. gotta love it

Post about pricing in response to this comment by @piicklejar on my Honda patch :
The patch had taken me 10 or so hours to finish - so for something at a similar level of detail I think I would need to charge upwards of £80-£100 for a fully embroidered patch to make sure I'm covering up my time n such!
However, I could definitely make you some patches of them that aren't fully embroidered and thus much cheaper!
i.e. , I could do a patch made from a mix of fabric cuts and embroidery. The example below is a 'portrait patch' I have done in the past from a photo portrait, and these only take me 2-ish hours so would sit at a much more affordable £20.
Still a bit different in terms of style, but much more realistic if you wanted to commission three patches.
I tend to just quote £10/hour for commissions so I'm just following this structure, and these prices would be for a patch around 4 x 5 inches, though I think the Honda patch below is 3 x 5" - a little on the skinnier side. My commissioning process also includes digital mock-ups/plans before I actually start sewing so that details can be tweaked to however you'd want them!
I mostly wanted to make this a full post so that I could include the images, but thanks so much for the question !!
Scapegoat & X-Ray themed stamps I made for my artfight.. but enjoy!

SATOSHI & KOUMOKU - GARAGE : BAD DREAM ADVENTURE (OC)
The machine Satoshi mostly lived a reserved life, friend of 'Takashi' and a very experienced fisherman. While attempting to catch the legendary frog 'Wang Shui', he was plulled off of the tracks, and into the sewage.
This machine was thought to be lost - his fishing cabin torn down and repurposed, and all of his equipment inherited by his trusted friends. During the time he was presumed dead, Satoshi's wife fell victim to 'The New World', taken apart by 'Yang' on stage at the 'Freakshow // Shadow Murder Show' as one of it's many acts.
Before the arrival of 'Yan' (player) and the main events of the game, the body of Satoshi had resurfaced in the sewage near the Ego Clinic - barely held together and inches away from falling apart. The machine 'Medici' was able to perform complex surgery with the help of 'Kari' and 'Moriwaki', and what was left of 'Satoshi' was able to be restored, mind a few corroded parts that needed replacing.
However, there were two things that would not be saved, 'Satoshi' had lost his sight along with the memory of the machine he was, leaving him lost and blind to the world as he was forced to remain in the hospital wing of the Ego clinic. A machine's eyes is one of the few organic components to the body, and they had long rotted away due to the corrosive nature of the sewage.
NOTE: 'sewage' is a waste product that comes from female machines. When consuming crabs and fish caught by male machines, female machines produce sewage as waste along with the useful milky fuel. The digestive material gives sewage a low (acidic) pH. Crabs and frogs are adapted to live in these conditions. In this world, buildings and structures are built on top of the sewage, much like human 'swamp houses.'
The machine had nothing left of his prior life - he no longer had his home, his wife, or anything that made him the machine he was. Alone, the machine chose a new name for himself : Koumoku.
Koumoku reamined in the hospital wing of the Ego Clinic, and though blinded, he made friends with the other machines - unable to discriminate 'Doku' for their situation, or 'Bem' for his cancerous warts due to the loss of his sight. During this time 'Gimon', the manager of the Ego Clinic, contacted the toymaker Buclaniro, who designed a set of mechanical eyes to repair Koumoku's sight.
NOTE : These events took place prior to the machine 'Lou' getting injured, so Koumoku takes the room at the end of the corridor next to 'Bem'.
'Kari' assisted 'Bulcaniro' in the construction of these parts, using their combined skills to fit the device, in the form of a helmet, over Koumoku's head and wiring it to his nervous system, restoring his sight - and upon recieving his new eyes, Koumoku was reborn into the world. He was finally able to live again, but never the same as before. This was not the same machine that was pulled into the sewage all those rotations ago.
Eternally grateful to his friends and 'saviours', the machine lives by the saying that "a friend of a friend is a friend of his own", and when first interacted with as 'Yan', Koumoku asks if you have encountered any of his friends (notably 'Doku', 'Bem', or any of the machines who assisted in restoring his eyesight). When answering "yes" in response, Koumoku may appear more trusting to the player. He tends to act more friendly towards machines he has connections with, and act more hostile towards strangers.
Koumoku's body is still fitted with the strong fishing motor and frame from 'Satoshi', and though he may not remember why, he often finds himself drawn to the sewage's edge. This machine can be found in the fishing spots by the Ego Clinic or 'Bulcaniro's Toyworks'.
