I took a REALLY hard and long look at myself in the mirror last night and I did NOT like what I saw… that realization shook me to my core before bed and I woke up this morning with new purpose!!

I texted the following to my uncle this morning, he lives with me and does the majority of the cooking so here’s what I said…

Good morning 😃 I’m starting a new diet and weight loss journey today, I have to get my life and order, that begins with making myself feel good physically. I’m cutting back starches. Double veggies and proteins. So you can buy less rice and pasta from now on.. just enough for yourself. I appreciate your support in this matter. I want to eat healthier and have more energy.. I can’t continue to eat things that drain me and pack weight on me. Love you Unc! Here’s to becoming better from this day forward!”

That was my pledge to him and to myself. When I’m motivated I’m unstoppable and I’m ready to changed my life!

I saw “Emily The Criminal” over the weekend and I throughly enjoyed it! Aubrey Plaza and Theo Rossi’s performances were so good!! It’s like “Breaking Bad” but it’s “Breaking Emily”. The desperate things people do just to try to survive in these times. Very relevant and poignant.
