That’s absurd. I’m a lesbian and have been a fan of G. Anderson since I was a teenager: Scully was instrumental in my self-discovery and acceptance, and the same thing happened to several of my friends and acquaintances. Another thing: I’ve never felt compelled to buy any of her products, nor do I think she tried to pass herself off as a lesbian to sell whatever it is. It’s not the first time I’ve seen some hateful comments directed at GA around here. Very unfortunate.

That Anon was in response to a previous anon and I got a response from someone who said they weren’t simply a fan, that Gillian was flirting with them but scared to commit to a woman after breaking up with PM because they expressed their sincere interest in her. Go to any comment section talking about G in relation to the queer community and they will be saying she’s an out bisexual woman.

Her drink brand’s online advertising leans heavily towards queer women.

I think it’s fair to be hurt/disapointed that she uses them for profit and attention by confusing enough people into believing she’s come out as bisexual without ever having to proudly state or act like she’s part of the community. The entitlement and delusion of some to think a celebrity being jovial with them at a paid event means they have the same infatuation with them as they do to with the celebrity is too much. You are only a fan in a sea of millions to them and the fact that there are some who won’t accept that she had no interest the first time makes them the scary ones. She didn’t get back with PM because she was afraid to date a woman and if she wanted to date women she had much better options than to go back. I recently saw some flirting about her fantasies on the account of one of the odd men who constantly confess their love to her I wish I could unsee. Celebrities aren’t better people so I don’t get the personal infatuation and possessiveness or intense need for validation people have with them.

I completely agree with Anon. Given the time and resources available, the choice fell short of expectations—brands like Carolina Herrera, for example, offer gorgeous, feminine options that are perfect for the occasion. The styling also left something to be desired: the hairstyle with loose strands gave the look a sloppy and outdated feel. As for the qipao, it has its own beauty and cultural significance, but wearing it outside of a thematic context or a specific tribute ends up falling into stereotype and failing to meet the dress code. If it really was a deliberate choice to highlight her Chinese heritage, she should have invested in a custom-made, well-tailored piece—a dress that flattens her breasts and makes her arms look like a dockworker’s is simply unacceptable. She is a petite, slender young woman; the dress made her look stocky, which proves it was a poor choice. And let’s not even mention the fact that Téa Leoni wore a qipao during one of her most photographed appearances alongside Duchovny. Okay, it’s not forbidden, and it may not be intentional that she wears clothes similar to those Téa has worn — or even poses for photos that resemble Mulder and Scully’s iconic poses — but, going back to the initial comment, with so much time and resources at her disposal (as far as we know, her only occupation is devoting herself to her old daddy), she could do much better. Especially considering how rare her public appearances with him are. PS: The individual photos also come across as amateurish—especially the ones where he isn’t in the picture (the shots of him walking behind her don’t count). On her own, she looked like a dazzled nouveau riche woman desperate for attention, and in the photo with the team, she seemed like the American colleague—the kind of picture employees from two companies take together at an event as a keepsake.

She has a cultural tie to the dress but I would have avoided it because it makes people flash back to the more appropriate wife and we know she would have been by his side posing for photos with him.

As if she could compare herself to Tèa Leoni—with Tèa, the dress was also a mistake, BUT Tèa had a beautiful face, was very thin and petite, despite being tall—the dress gave her curves, her breasts didn’t look flat, and she would never be mistaken for an actor’s bodyguard. By the way, the event Tèa attended in that outfit was her own—Dick went along as her date. Another thing that’s incomparable to the current disaster is that both of them were attractive, and neither looked like the other’s child or grandchild. Much less an employee. That makes all the difference. Judging by the photos on the photographer’s Instagram, he feels comfortable sitting with her in small spaces - at a private dinner—or at the supermarket , where he has control over the environment and knows he won’t end up in a Getty. Like, why doesn’t she just stay home? Seriously, it’s not just any house—it’s a mansion in one of the most expensive places on the planet. If she doesn’t want to hang out by the pool, she can pop over to Malibu. Or go anywhere and have a blast with his tesla and his credit card. With the Highway at her disposal, why choose to be humiliated in Germany? She’s much more respected when she’s not around: he obediently wears his wedding ring and shows it off for everyone to see, and with any luck, he’ll recount for the thousandth time their romantic elopement to the courthouse. Sometimes he even says her name alongside “wife.” Unless he decides she has to come along—then she has no choice. But even so, why would she want the spotlight, just to be humiliated on a stratospheric scale? If it were me, and I were forced to go, I’d make sure to enter through a different door and make myself as inconspicuous as possible. She can’t be so stupid as to think she’ll ever gain recognition—it’s not even a matter of that train having already left; she never even made it to the station. And she never will. There are some famous young women—who are also well-known because of their partners—who look great in Asian-inspired outfits. Alexandra Leclerc stands out in particular; I assume she also has some Asian ancestry—I’ve seen her in several “Shanghai” looks, and she always nails it. It helps that she has the perfect body type for this style—she’s slender and tall—and next to her, Dixie Kong looks like a behemoth.

I think the dress was especially drab and tacky in black with the tied slits, it might have been cuter in a brighter color and shorter to avoid the uncomfortable gap while sitting.

Does she really have lip fillers? Because thinner lips would soften her features and make her look prettier. It doesn't make sense to want to look uglier. Maybe she's lost weight, gotten older, and her face has changed.

It looks like she has a shelf of filler forming under her bottom lip in this photo. Migrating filler on the top or bottom is a giveaway. Her lips were not this full when she was younger and lips only lose fullness with age. Mother and stepdaughter get the two for one special.

In the photos, I didn’t think she looked sulky—I saw the same thing as always: her trying to position her face so she’d appear as much as possible in the photos with him and making the same intense expression she used to make when she filmed her floral arrangement videos—the ones where she showed off her body, her house, and her dog more than her work with the flowers. In fact, those are the only expressions she has—and she fails miserably at both, because they seem inauthentic: completely absorbed, like a neurosurgeon, or psychotically euphoric, like her stepdaughter.

She twisted her lips in a way that made her face look sour. I don’t think a genuinely happy or comfortable person would have that expression. If she was nervous, D looking back at her or holding her hand so she walked along side him might have helped. She was left to fake smile as stranger directed her on where to go as D left her behind to do his job.

He received an award and brought his family along, because his wife, children, and siblings are his family. Regardless of what anyone thinks of her, there’s no question that, after marriage, she’s part of the family.

She is his family, he should treat her as such. We comment on what we see. He treats her like a second rate spouse and she allows it.

As a lesbian I would not like to be friends with Gillian. Because she is quite men-centered despite the image of an independent woman that her team has built. She said she had no hobbies and passion apart from work, and when she creates a business it is because the men around her told her to do it. Not to mention the change in clothing style, personality traits, and accent with each new partner 😬.

I can’t take the ultra posh accent that she starts losing half way through the video. I don’t think she can drop the act even around him or her family. The less than an hour appearances over the 8 episodes have led me to conclude that the girl is no actor. She has a job as one but by goodness' she can't act. The stint in theatre seems to have done nothing to advance her cause. The speech pattern😬, the facial expressions😬, the forced humour😬. It's no wonder the parents have resorted to applying for jobs for her. They can't sell talent because she has none. They rely on friends to give her jobs. And now I am wondering about the soapbox. Let's see how papa mediocre and his child do.

She landed another role today. 😳 I haven’t had time to watch the whole series yet but I watched the first episode today and I saw the teaser where she speaks one line. Her flat voice and delivery made me cringe. For those who think it’s mean to point out that she doesn’t have a natural talent for acting, I’m not taking delight in her suckage. I wanted her to be good or at the very least decent at emoting.
