That iwaoi moment from the play was already translated in the sub. Why didn't you just post that? Seems like unnecessary work when the sub has been out for over 2 months now lol

I already mentioned a quick apology/disclaimer in my tags of the post, but if it makes you feel better to read a whole backstory of it, here you go: 

I had another Anon ask about translating this scene about a month ago. I had to save the question as a draft and then I couldn’t find it anymore for some reason ^^;

Then I received this ask fairly recently: 

… So I decided to give it a go. 

(The asker asked for a private reply so i didn’t include it in the original post, but I contacted them and they said they were okay with me posting their ask as long as their name is hidden).

I didn’t just post the translation for a few reasons:

I didn’t watch the DVD with the translations, and I don’t like pulling out just part of someone else’s translations.

I did a quick search but I didn’t find this specific scene translated on tumblr, so I decided that it would be quicker to just translate it myself

It was requested directly more than once, so I thought, “why not?” Haha

If you prefer to just watch the subs, I am perfectly fine with that. You don’t have to “favorite”, reblog, or even look at the post. I’m just trying to do what is best for the asker!

Aobajousai 3rd years/IwaOi(+MatsuHana?) Moment in Haikyuu!! Stage Play.

(Extra BG: This scene starts right after the Karasuno vs Aobajousai practice match. After Oikawa delivers his “I want to defeat Tobio in a formal match” speech, Oikawa starts blowing kisses and touching his fan’s hands as we walks down the isle. He then runs into Mattsukawa, Hanamaki, and Iwaizumi.) 

Matsukawa: Oikawa~ let’s go grab something to eat at Chindouchuu.

Hanamaki: We don’t need Oikawa for that though, do we?

Iwaizumi: *Interrupting Hanamaki* We do!

Matsukawa & Hanamaki: Eh?

*The three stare at Iwaizumi as he runs off the scene*

Oikawa: Iwa-chan?

Hanamaki: Iwaizumi...

*Oikawa looks towards Hanamaki and Matsukawa in joy*

Oikawa: IWA-CHAAAN! WAIT FOR MEE!!

*Oikawa chases after Iwaizumi*

Hanamaki: *turning to Matsukawa* Let’s win next time we go against Karasuno.

Hanamaki: ...Yeah.

*Matsukawa and Hanamaki walk off the scene*

Can I say I really love you for respecting artists who do not allow their works reposted on other sites, like gusari. Your blog is my favourite in general, it's so diverse and well organised. Keep doing what you do! <3
