i haven’t made my own studyblr post in nearly a year…*sighs*

Well here’s an update of my study space/room if anyone is interested! the last time i posted a photo of this area, it didn’t have all those photos on the walls. But i’m really glad i have them now because every time i’m staying up super late at night trying to plow through some procrastinated homework, looking at all the different pictures makes my mood at least a little bit better :-)

231116 - it’s 3 days to my next paper and less than a week to the end of finals!! Feeling so blessed this semester that I got to do modules that remind me of why I chose to major in theatre in the first place! From learning about Sanskrit theatre, to reading Butler and Derrida in Performance Studies class, I’ve been fortunate enough to encounter ideas and theories that have given me new perspectives eeek!! Hope you’re all doing fine and all the best who have tests (ू•ᴗ•ू❁)

So I have another update... (along with an old photo)

I’ve been studying with the OU for two months, now. I’ve submitted four assignments, attended tutorials, and pretty much dropped off the face of Tumblr for a while. But I’m back! I’ll try to be more active, though I’m likely to disappear for a fortnight around assignments. Speaking of, I got 95 on my latest Language & Culture assignment! I’m thrilled, especially since I thought I hadn’t done very well. It’s a major improvement over my first assignment (78), too, so hopefully I can keep improving. 

The actual language modules are both more challenging and less difficult than I expected. Thus far, I haven’t had to put a lot of work into my French since it’s mostly revision, but it’s difficult to stay motivated to study; for German, I’m finding it easy to navigate the grammar we’ve come up against so far, and the vocab just makes sense in my head. I think long-term, I’m going to enjoy German more overall, though maybe I’ll find French more interesting when we cover something new. In the meantime, I have a bunch of work to do before Christmas, and should probably get some revision done, as well!

Well I haven’t been on here in a while. This school year has been absolutely insane and so much has happened in these past couple months. In order to keep this short I’m just going to stick with three highlights:

I was named a national merit semifinalist!

I was named my school’s August senior of the month!

I’ve reached over 1,000 followers on this account (which is crazy)!
