Philippians 4:6

Yesterday, I was in church and the sermon was about thanksgiving. Pastor Paul brought us to Philippians 4:6 and it says

"Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition ([a]definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God."

As this was being read (even though i have read this bible verse countless times) the thanksgiving jumped out at me and really struck home.I have never really seen the thanksgiving part (or i must have ignored it).

To bring forth what you have asked for, You have to thank Him for it as if it is already in the physical. Doing so will bring forth what you have asked for.
